I have really nothing to complain.

This beautiful Country House deserves a 10 from me. Spotlessly clean with superb facilities such as the pool with stunning views and probably the best breakfast I've had so far in Italy. The hosts even kept the pool open slightly later for me in the evening so that I could have a refreshing swim upon arrival. Very thoughtful. I was completely impressed with Massimo and Ryan's professionalism and hospitality skills. Such genuinely kind hosts. An absolutely wonderful stay.

The house was beautiful, well kept & clean and only a short walk to the town (where we had the best meal of our entire stay in Italy). The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious. But by far the best part of the stay were our hosts - they truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay, including rescuing us when we were a bit lost and booking dinner reservations for us each night. Massimo & Ryan were so generous and friendly and we can’t thank them enough for making our last stop in Italy the best one!

Our stay at Casa Stella was truly 11 out of 10. The beautiful house and the breathtaking scenery around Savigno were amazing. The pool was the perfect way to cool down while taking in the stunning hills and valleys. Breakfast was another highlight — delicious coffee, local bread, cheese, and fresh fruits that made our mornings the perfect start. The thing that made our stay at Casa Stella exceed every other vacation we have had was the hosts and owners, Ryan and Massimo. If everyone were as genuinly kind and caring as they are, the world would be a much better place. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer than two nights. We recommend Casa Stella wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in the Italian countryside.

Beautiful house, nice room, very clean. Massimo and Ryan were very helpfull and friendly, greatest hosts! Breakfast was amazing, different cheeses and cold cuts from local farms, fruit, bread, drinks, and a lot of everything.

Hands down, it is one of the best places we have ever stayed! We had loved Italy before this trip, but staying in Casa Stella made us fall in love with Italy madly. It felt like we stayed in the history and a storybook, yet the bed was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We've traveled a lot and stayed at many hotels, but only a few places made us feel connected with the destinations. This place definitely made us feel that way. I'm confident you will feel the same when you walk into the house. If you are lucky enough to see this place become available, do yourself a favor and book it! On top of how good the place is, it also comes with two of the most amazing hosts who will go above and beyond to give you the best travel (not just stay) experience in Savigno and the surrounding areas. We don't speak Italian, and they helped us arrange many cool things in the area. Thank you so much Massimo and Ryan for hosting us and letting the guests experience your amazing place (pool and garden too)! P.S. We miss the morning breakfast in the backyard!

We had a wonderful time at Massimo and Ryan's place, both the property and the hosts were fantastic. We have never experienced such hospitality before and really enjoyed our stay there. We definitely recommend and are already planning a trip there again. arrivederci

Very enjoyable stay! Comfortable, spacious room,tastefully decorated and with a view to die for. Beautiful spotlessly clean bathroom. Great breakfast and the best coffee . Massimo and Ryan are such wonderful hosts! Very thoughtful, attentive and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us. We really hope to be back at some point.

Ryan and Massimo are fantastic host, they booked us restaurants every night of our stay with links for directions, gave us some great tips for places to go during the day which helped us get the most out of our time in Italy. The pool and gardens are just beautiful and peaceful with plenty of sunbeds and seating. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy this stunning country house with the best host again. Thank you so much for making our stay so special.

Our stay at Cassa Stella Country House, owned by Massimo and Ryan, was truly unforgettable. The house, over 300 years old, exudes authenticity and beauty. Stepping inside felt like traveling back in time and experiencing the spirit of a noble Italian family, complete with all the luxury of those days, including a refreshing pool for the hot Italian days. Massimo and Ryan were not only lovely hosts but also shared their family history with us, adding a personal touch to our stay. Their kindness extended beyond hospitality: they provided us with valuable tips for good restaurants, helped us organize a visit to a local ham factory, and even gave us directions to a convenient parking lot in Bologna. It's difficult to put into words how wonderful the place and its owners are; it's a hidden gem that you'll want to keep to yourself. However, we wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone who has the opportunity to visit. We are already planning our return visit to bask in the exceptional hospitality once again.

Everything about our stay here was amazing. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and offers a lens into an earlier time with its antique furniture; the location is fantastic, and Ryan and Massimo are wonderful hosts with a great knowledge of the area. It truly made our visit to this area special!

Beautiful and well-maintained villa with stunning views. Spaciuos room, beautiful garden and lovely pool where you can relax. Peaceful location, but still within walking distance of the village. Ryan and Massimo are the most accommodating and hospitable hosts you could have. They took such good care of us throughout our stay. They know the best places to visit in the area and we also had great experiences outside the villa based on their recommendations. Hope we can return some day!

Ryan and Massimo make your stay an exceptional experience. Their communication and help - both prior and throughout our stay - was fantastic. The villa is in stunning, well maintained grounds with incredible views over the rolling hills. Extremely spacious rooms, and lovely simple breakfast served outside. Ryan and Massimo are the best hosts you can have. Thoughtful, charming and with great humor. They know the best places to visit in the surroundings. They give exellent advice of the best restaurants. The room was spacious with a nice new bathroom. A wonderful swimmingpool and a garden with several places to sit and relax. Breakfast is very good. I hope we can go back next year!

Spacious and clean room with character and impressive bathroom, beautiful garden and scenery all around, ideal swimming pool, special breakfast and marvelous hosts!

Visiting Bologna and heard about the Truffle Festival in Savigno, so decided to book last-minute. What a surprise to find such a gem of a B&B located in the hills above the town. The house is quintessentially Italian. Elegant and simply beautiful. My room, Peonia, was very comfortable. A very large bedroom, with a spectacular view towards the hills and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a feast, served with kindness by the lovely hosts. I loved everything and will definitely come back for longer next time.

Our stay at Casa Stella was really one of a kind. It is actually a place you want to keep to yourself. Like a little treasure. The history of the house, the nicely decorated rooms with love for past times, the breakfast with delicious cappuci's and home baked crostata. It all fitted into our Italian dream. Massimo and Ryan made us really feel at home. They were so kind and considerate. We made warm memories at the local town of Savigno and surroundings. But there is so much more to see and do. We will absolutely return!

Everything exceeded expectations, was provided to the highest quality by Massimo and Ryan, 2 of the nicest, knowledgeable and passionate people who solely wanted to ensure you had the perfect experience. Combine this with the beautiful house, swimming pool and the local town of Savigno and it was perfect.

We just loved everything about our stay at Casa Stella! The house is lovely, centuries old, surrounded by beautiful countryside and offering lovely gardens and a wonderful swimming pool….and of course a scrumptious breakfast each morning with yogurt dnd cheese from a nearby caseificio, freshly baked croissants and breads, a platter of delicious cured meats, fruit, and home-baked coffee cake. We couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation in which to spend several days in the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely, antique furnishings, and with  a modern, well-appointed bath. We loved the traditional, antique wooden shutters which blocked out the heat of the day, and opened to reveal a lovely view of the hills and countryside. Above all, however, it is the hosts, Massimo and Rion, who made our time there so special. They made us feel as if we were members of the family who had returned home for a visit! Welcoming us warmly, they were always ready with great suggestions for places to visit and things to see on our daily wanderings; and with wonderful recommendations for restaurants for each evening. (And an additional thank you to Barbara, who was so helpful and attentive. ) We were so sorry when it was time to leave, and we are already planning our return visit to Casa Stella!
