Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaBreakfast could have had more fresh vegetables, however the kitchen personnel made their best to make our breakfasts more enjoyable.
Very good location, near metro station, close to Vatican and historical center. The room was big and had a nice balcony. I liked the split bathroom, shower separated from the restroom. The personnel is amazing and I thank them all for their care, starting with the reception, kitchen and technical team.

Great location, easy walk to the Vatican one way, the Spanish steps, Trevi and Pantheon, close to the underground for the Colesseum! Good size room, great breakfast and roof top deck, and a great in-house shop for drinks. Also a lift

United StatesThe location was great, and the room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The bed third bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on. There were springs in my back, and I couldn't sleep without putting another blanket over the existing sheets & blanket to sleep. Due to our early leave time, we didn't get to eat breakfast.

GreeceThere was no restaurant, which was fine, since reception gave me a full list of nearby restaurants they recommended.
The staff was very helpful and warm, the room was spacious and clean, great location near the metro and plenty of shopping opportunities. While the facilities are not brand new, they are kept in excellent condition and are clean.

United KingdomIt would have been nice to have a kettle and some coffee and milk pots in the room and a little mini fridge but that is just personal preference Beds were a bit hard
Location of the property about 20 minutes from St Peter’s Basilica, situated in a mainly residential area in Prati but so close to so many lovely places and means prices slightly cheaper when eating out Breakfast was fabulous good selection Terraces were beautiful in the sun and a great place to chill away from the hustle and bustle of Rome with great views

IrelandThe rooms are a bit outdated, but everything is clean. There were no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, and were able to provide answers to all of my questions. The hotel was conveniently located next to the Metro station and within walking distance from the Vatican. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

United Kingdom1. Unfortunately one night there was some loud crowd disrespecting the sleep time of others. 2. You need separate key if you are planning to leave and return after midnight. 3. Breakfast is unfortunately a classic bland continental-style, and definitely not what appears to be pictured on the photos - it is still ok though if you are looking for a typical bread/jam/ham/cereals/coffee combo for convenience.
Very good location, quiet area. Friendly staff. Room decor and amenities are not the newest but everything seems to work well and in a comfortable manner. If your re looking for a great spot to visit Rome and Vatican, and are after quiet neighborhood, this is the right place!

MalaysiaMy phone was stolen in Naples during a day trip. Both the front office staff, Anna and Hoda, had been extremely helpful in assisting me to sort this out. It was a matter of urgency, and they went out of their way to let me use their personal phones. I am very grateful to them. Apart from that I had a good stay at the hotel. Basic but comfortable. Great bathroom, with a bidet hose (rare in Europe) and daylight/ window. Good location too, with short walking distance to Lepanto Metro station. The elevator is handy for the elderly like me. Finally, thanks for wonderful coffee! Makes my day.

Great location, quiet neighbourhood but easy to walk to many sites or take the metro. Hotel itself is quite simple and a bit dated, but it is good value for money and perfectly acceptable for a short stay. Nice that breakfast is included, a bit basic but a number of options to choose from.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaCheck in until midnight, and after that you have to pay 50€. They moved my flight so instead of coming to Rome around 12,30, I arrived around 23,30. Then I ran to take taxi to arrive before midnight, whole day was very stresfull and then I thought that extra 50€ is like punishment for already stresful day, even I did everything in my power to get there in time. And 4 of my friends did not come at all, also because of the flight cancelation. Luckely, on the end since I waited for some time for someone to unlock the main gate, and I was ringing on all bells, and calling on phone and got frozen a litle bit because of the waiting, they did not ask me to pay extra 50€. Lady on reception was very kind, and helpful.
Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Just a suggestion. I understand that 50€ is extra charge for after midnight check in, but maybe you can make an exeption when people have flight cancelation. It felt bad when I was informing hotel that I had flights problems and hotel answered It is ok, you can check in after midnight, for extra charge. I respect the rules, but sometimes there are certain situations out of travelers control. But, stil, people who work here manage to make my rest of the long weekend nice. I know this rule is not up to them.

LithuaniaIt is a cosy and comfortable hotel in a calm neighborhood walking distance from Vatican and Rome attractions. The metro station is near and goes directly to the Rome Termini station. Coffee shops, bakery and convenience store are around. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. The breakfast quite basic but really enough.
