Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaVery noisy from outside traffic. Common kitchen is not well equipped and dirty. They dumped garbage from kitchen only ones in 7 days. Very small bathroom especially shower area.
One of the best locations in town, near central train station and in street in which are all main attractions. Good wi-fi. Comfortable room with mini fridge. Good working AC, and plus ceiling fan. They kept our luggage after checking out.

AustraliaThe lack of hot water to take a shower the second day I was there. The toilet seat was so loose it looked broken.
Late check-in option available. Simone that took care of our check-in was absolutely delightful. Professional and helpful. Amazing location to visit Palermo, close to everything: the market, the train station and the city centre

BelgiumThe neighborhood is a bit sketchy, so would not recommend to stay if you are a solo female traveler, but location wise is very close to all the historic attractions and restaurants

Romaniasmell from the pipes in the bathroom. there was some mold on the outside of the bathroom window.
it's so close to the train station so you don't have to carry your bags all around the town. they let us do an early check-in so that's a big + the room is cozy, the bed is comfy, the kitchenette is nicely equipped and everything is clean. you can also borrow stuff you need from the shared kitchen. the location is right on Via Maqueda, the busy pedestrian street full of restaurants and shops, but after midnight it gets quiet. overall we had a great stay.

United KingdomThe room was comfortable and on the first floor. The host was helpful and also helped us up the stairs with our luggage. The location is perfect near the station and has a super market and can easily walk to historic places. It is very good value with necessaty facilities. . We hope to go back there before we fly to Dublin.

SlovakiaThe location was excellent. The accommodation was located at the beginning of a long street that led to the historic center, so the sights are easily accessible by foot. The station is just around the corner and you can visit the very nice town of Cefalù by train. Mondello beach is also nice to visit during the summer. You can use public transport. Beach buses are usually overcrowded, so it's a good idea to get on at earlier stops (The same goes for the way back from the beach).

South Koreawhy do you want to pay 15 eur or 20 eur for late check-in? Then are another b&bs that don’t want to pay for late check-in crazy? Your check - in time until 9pm is only your regulation. i didn’t accept that before i made a reservation. If you want to pay the fee, you have to , you should have to explain or announce before the reservation is made.

PolandThree-person room with windows heading main crossroad is hell. It is so loud, that it is impossible to sleep. 4 sleepless nights. You can not hear person speaking in the room, you can't even hear Your own thoughts. When you close the window it isn't better at all, what's more, you have to turn on AC because humidity and temperature makes it impossible to breathe. If you want to leave a luggage for few hours (it was 3 in my case) you have to pay 5 euro per luggage!! The toilet paper - 1.5 piece for a 4 nights is only provided once.
The localisation of the hotel is perfect - so close to the central train/bus station, really near centre and all the city attractions and restaurants.

SloveniaWe killed two bugs in the room. Also, bathroom is very old and not so clean, but as I mentioned, it is cheap apartment in the city centre. It can be a bit noisy in the night (because of the location). Room could be cleaned better..
Really good location - 2min walk from the train & bus station and 10min walk from the center. Room is really small so it is good for short stays. It’s cheap, about 20€/night/person but there is reason why is that cheap. The stuff is really really friendly.

GermanyThe room on the main street was very loud because of the traffic and the kids. After few days we changed to a room which was quiet and better to sleep. Flexible Option.
Thanks to Guido (for general tips to go to good places in Palermo) and Marco (who transported the freezer from the common kitchen to our room because of the medicaments) who were friendly and helpful! Very kind personal. The second room was good.
