Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenWe couldn't drive the car there (only the very smallest Fiat Punto could get through that alley) - would have been good to know ahead of arrival
The family and their friendliness was amazing. They also met up with car and helped us park in a secure place (and then drove us back there in the morning)

United KingdomOur first experience in Italy was made so memorable with the wonderful experience at Il Caslae Di Don Matteo. We were greeted on arrival by Matteo who picked us up from our taxi & drove us down the narrow lane towards the bed & breakfast. It is situated in stunning Italian countryside, with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. We were treated every day to a freshly prepared 4 course breakfast from Teresa, all with local ingredients of the farm. The food was absolutely delicious & beautifully presented. The property is situated about 10 minutes up the hill from Vico centre & the buses run roughly every hour. The small village of St Andrea has some lovely restaurants (all with amazing views) & very friendly locals. We cannot recommend Il Caseo Di Don Matteo highly enough. Thank you to Teresa & Matteo for their incredible, warm hospitality.

LatviaNot a minus for us, but the last ~ 300 meters to the apartments are with narrow street, but it is possible to reach apartments with a Fiat Panda or Punto without harming your car. Guess transfer is available if you have a big car or are afraid to drive it on the narrow street.
Very cozy place. The apartments are new and very clean. Comfortable bed, bathroom equipped with all necessary items and shampoos. Especially nice welcome and hospitality as if we had come to visit relatives at home. Homemade Limoncello as a compliment. Mega tasty and freshly prepared breakfast, and the next meal can only have late evening or the next day. In addition to breakfast, there were fresh fruits from the garden. Positano is not far by car. I can definitely recommend it as a good accommodation. 11/10 Thanks to Matteo and family.

BulgariaIf you want to taste the Italian atmosphere, this is the place. The location was very good - close to all the popular destinations in the area - Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano and at the same time calmer than them. We went by a rental car and had a private small parking 5mins away from the place. Yet, Don Mateo took us with his car to the facility as the street leading to it was so narrow, barely one car could pass through (another typical Italian thing that we got to experience). We arrived very late, which was not a problem and they were waiting for us. The breakfast - this was the best. We were so full that didn't have to eat lunch! Typical Italian food, with most of the ingredients homemade. The hosts - Don Mateo and his mother Dona Teresa were the best hosts any tourist could ask for. Helping with anything you need - after checking in don Mateo took us to a close restaurant (Da Giovanni - great place btw, great pizza and pasta) as even it was late we had to dine, we had small compliments in our rooms when arrived, they gave us umbrellas as one day it was raining. When leaving Dona Teresa even packed us food for the airport. What more to ask. Rooms were big enough - renovated, clean and I don't remember missing anything there.
