Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe junior suite i booked for my daughter did not match my expectations. Less size for more money. 2 spots on the way to the location need improvement as it is dangerous for an electric vehicle when touching the ground.
nice area.

United KingdomWe were disappointed to find that our room wasn’t actually in the main property, but right back down at the bottom of the hill in the main village, about 10 mins away. Although they were very helpful in providing a shuttle service up and down for dinner and breakfast, I think this should be made clear on booking. It wasn’t the ambiance I was expecting and also made dinner a much later experience with young kids.
The Agriturismo is in a beautiful location, full of character. The food was delicious and the staff were all extremely kind and helpful. The kids loved the animals and playing with the kittens. The road up was ok in a normal car (estate).

PolandTwo things - the way to and from the house was scary. With 2 m wide car it is a traumatic experience and I wouldnt dare to repeat it. Secondly - there was no kettle (despite the room description).
This is a very unique place. Overall experience was great, one of the best places Ihave been staying at for years. The room was spacious, bathroom clean, staff - just amazing.

SwitzerlandRooms somewhat Spartan (not even a chair in the room), smelled a bit funky, shower looked a little mouldy. The route up to the place is tricky but worth it, the building and the place itself is marvellous.
Very kind staff, fabulous place

United StatesIt would be nice to read a warni g about the road going to that place. If you have a SUV, leave it at home or you are going to scratch it. The road is super narrow, adrenalin ride

MaltaRooms need a bit of refurbishment especially the bathrooms. The road leading to the Agriturismo is very narrow, cobbled and bumpy with potholes.
This is as authentic as it can get. Agriturismo as it should be. In the middle of nowhere, local produce and a rustic vibe. The host was super nice and sweet and never put any pressure on us to eat there or buy any products. Ample parking area, very quiet and one can breathe the fresh and clean air.

SerbiaLocation is very bad. If you drive a low car, better not to come. Street is very narrow and bumpy. Road is not good at all.
Atmosphere is really Italian. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and nice.

AustraliaThe road! It is at the top of a very narrow, steep cobblestone road. We almost didn't make it to the accommodation, as our family of 6 were in a Fiat van with a rather small engine and the clutch could not cope. We ended up calling for someone to come down and help us. After offloading our luggage to one of the staff car, the van made it up with the rest of us walking the last 10 min. I was quite stressed we wouldn't make it down in the morning so unfortunately I couldn't relax and enjoy the night as much as I otherwise would have.
Beautiful building and comfortable rooms. My children loved all the farm animals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to leave before breakfast in the morning and Lucy kindly packed us some takeaway breakfast for the road.

‘Scared’ by the stories about the last bit of road to this agriturismo, we had ourselves picked up. What a nice start to our stay. A very cheerful and sweet Italian young lady brought us up at high speed with her little car and showed us how to do it. Once at the top it was wonderful. Everything atmospheric and perhaps not all completely perfect, but the charm, the delicious food in the evening and in the morning and the friendly staff gave us a very nice stopover. Hope to see you next time

SwitzerlandThe way to go to the hotel was super narrow. They need to find a solution there with a for example green/red lamp to show you can drive up or you should wait.
It was very close to the Como city but you could feel like you are in the mountains.

GermanyStart with warning: adventurous route up to the hotel (= very narrow road) but once there, you see it was worth it! Pleasant greeting on arrival, good parking facilities, nice room, easy for our dog on stairs and around the complex, great breakfast, the BEST steaks for the evening meal which was clearly rated by many locals too!

LuxembourgI’m travelling with a heavy cruiser motorbike (350 kg), getting up the forest road to the property was very difficult, cobblestones, dirt track, serpentines in difficult terrain. Going down was even harder. Enduro motorbikes would not have a problem, for street motorbikes it is difficult, a heavy Harley big twin would not make it up there. I was told it is a municipal road and the owners cannot do anything about it.
It’s like an oasis in the forest, very special location. An old renovated stone house with all the amenities you need. Not to forget the restaurant with local specialities, I really enjoyed dinner. Breakfast was lovely too. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, really great service.

United KingdomOK, perhaps a bit unfair, but the last kilometre to the hotel was a challenge! A very narrow and winding road that had us flinching as we approached the narrowest sections. But it was worth it to get there!
The location is beautiful - lovely scenery and very quiet. Food was excellent - both the dinner (pasta carbonara & tagliatelle ai fungi, and tagliata) and breakfast. Enzo and Luci were most friendly and generous. It was interesting to note how many people made the trip to the hotel restaurant to dine. I can understand why!

United KingdomNo comments to make. You have to take the property for what it is and enjoy the experience!
The property felt very homely, totally different to anywhere we have ever stayed before. Completely authentic with a farmhouse feel & although the property was rustic, the room had all modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay (including Netflix on TV). We arrived late at night and despite this the staff were very happy to serve us a delicious meal without feeling rushed at all. Lucy at front desk was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, from organising a private transfer from Milan airport to helping us take a taxi into Como the next day (the property is remote so this can be difficult). A superb stay if you want something a little off the beaten track & an experience - you might be greeted by some farm animals as we were.. ponies right outside our room!

United StatesIt is quite an adventure reaching this property. We were in a rental car and feared it would get harmed numerous times due to the narrow roads. It’s doable but not for the faint of heart.

GreeceWe had an issue with the hot water. So we had to have a shower with frozen water. We read that it happened this before but we were hopping that will not happen to us. Also, keep in mind that the road to the Hotel is tiny small with walls around so you need to drive through it very very carefully. If something goes wrong you can't get out of the car as the door will never open and you can not get out of the walls. So pay attention to have a small car and not a SUV as we had!
Pretty much everything was ok to perfect.. The restaurant, the breakfast, the people were very friendly (Lucia was always there to help), the room was clean and tidy. They took cared the room even after the first night. The atmosphere was perfect. And all for around 35€/person/night.
