How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Breakfast varieties could be improved, e.g serving some hot food.
Hotel are clean and new, room are spacious. It’s easy accessible by walk and metro station too.

The area around can feel sketchy in certain places, but it's a typical city!
Good value! Clean and large room with modern facilities. All the staff were helpful and had a smooth check in/out.

We loved the staff, the location, and the rooms. I felt it was an exceptional value for what we paid. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful for anything we asked of them. I felt that they went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay.

A little more soundproofing of the rooms might have been nice, but no big deal
Lovely, modern hotel in a very convenient location for exploring Rome. Close to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Colosseum. A stone's throw from the underground. Clean, comfortable rooms with great aircon. Friendly, helpful staff made us feel very welcome.

Room was samll for four people

The towels are changed every three days.
Perfect location - 10-15 mins walking distance from train station and Colosseum. The room is specious and clean.

The location was great! The hotel is modernly decorated and has spacious ensuites and USB sockets in the bedrooms. The staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, and the children loved the pancake machine at breakfast.

There could have been a little more closet space but we survived :)
In the area around Termini, there are a lot of pretty awful hotels, but this is certainly NOT one of them. It started with the excellent correspondence with Brian before even getting there. Check-in went easily, and the room itself was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was above average, and both the breakfast and reception people were really kind. I'm so coming back to this hotel when I go to Rome.

There was NOT one negative thing I could say about this hotel in Rome. You will love it!!
Location, location, location!! Friendly English speaking staff!! CLEAN, UPDATED room. What a great find! Honestly, this was a great place and a great stay while in Rome. CLOSE, walking distance from the Coliseum, main train terminal and a 5 star authentic Italian restaurant directly across the street. A++

Staff were very friendly and explained what facilities were available. The area has lots of places to eat. The metro is 2min walk and can get you across Rome. You can walk to many famous attractions directly. The air con was perfect after a long hot day in Rome.

The floors were dirty. I think they rushed with the cleaning. We arrived 1h before the check-in time and were happy to wait. They said that the room hasn’t been cleaned yet. But in like 30minutes they called us that the room is ready. Also you can hear everything going on in the corridors very well. It was quite disturbing, especially having an early flight and wanting a good sleep. Someone had a loud fight at 1am in the corridors and I’m not sure the staff interveined - judging how long it was going on (and in English), so no one came to say to take it somewhere else. The quiet hours were clearly stated.
The room was modern and airconditioned. We only stayed for one night because we had an early flight and it was quite close to Roma Termini train station.

One of the best hotels in Italy I've been to! Great location, safe neighborhood, very close to everything important and everything can be "done" on foot. Clean, new and the room is cleaned every day. I would only suggest that you add disposable guest slippers and water bottles to the rooms as that is always good to have. We will come back here for sure!
