How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

1) Ants: Ants are a significant problem. Leaving fruit or even cream out for just a minute attracts them, whether it's on the nightstand, table, or bed. So dont leave food. 2) Air: While the air conditioner does cool the room, as soon as it's turned off, the room becomes hot again. When it's on, there's a lack of fresh air, making the room feel stuffy. This seems to be an issue mainly on the 2nd floor, likely due to the heated roof. Overall, our stay was enjoyable with a few minor inconveniences. The hotel's location and amenities are its standout features, but some attention to pest control and ventilation would greatly enhance the experience.
1) Fantastic Location: The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. 2) Excellent Breakfast: The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a good variety of options. 3) Cleanliness: The hotel is clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable. 4) Amenities: There is a small refrigerator in the room, which is very handy. 5) Pleasant Grounds: The hotel has a nice courtyard and well-kept grounds. 6) Beach Activities: The beach offers a fantastic selection of activities like windsurfing, diving, and snorkeling. The services are excellent, though the prices are quite high. * Internet: The internet works reasonably well, but not inside room, closer to the reception area, although the speed could be better.

In fact nothing, good quality for price. Just could be different kind of toileteries, there was small sachet of shampoo, not very practic to use, compare to other hotels using refill containers. We had standard room, but shower really ask for renovation. Bed was big enough but with string mattress, so if partner move, you move too.
Breakfast was just delicious, home made local cakes made by hotel staff (could be good if they offer also dinner, coz we found out very difficult to eat considering to special opening hours for local restaurants.) Staff very helpful, kind, smiling. Our arrival was in very early morning hour (1:30h), so they sent us video how to find our room with the key. They offer morning joga excercises. Perfect location, who doesnt like city noise, very quiet place. Walkinkg distance (5min) to the beach. Beach was very clean, with clear water.

This place is a gem. Comfortable rooms with shady terraces, and just a short walk from a beautiful, unspoiled beach. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is amazing too. Thank you Ragno d'Oro. 😊

I liked every bit about the place: super friendly staff, large (and very clean) room with a huge private terrace with comfortable furniture to relax; very calm atmosphere in the hotel while you have a <5 minute walk to a beautiful beach with restaurants and bars. Oh, and the breakfast is great, too ;-)

Hotel is so close to sea, just 3 mins walking distance. Room was enough big and clean. Each room has own balcony, it is so good to relax in evening. The good thing there was no mosquitoes, we could open room door and window.Hotel staff are so kind and helpful. Breakfast was good too.

I cannot recommend it. Mold in the bathroom (and the smell of it), breakfast is done with mostly bought food (lots of cakes, yes, but all ultra-processed - and fruit from cans...) and Wifi does not even work in certain rooms. Overpaid hugely.
Only 3 good things: it is near the beach, staff is kind and coffee is good. The end.
