This is my third time staying here at Comera, and I absolutely love it each time! I come back every year! It is truly a special place, right in the center with a gorgeous balcony that is perfect to have an aperitivo on and watch the sunset. The room is so well accommodated and I was even able to drop of my luggage early since I arrived before check in. I will for sure come back again next year 💌

Comera Residence is just perfect for a stay in the Sassi of Matera, Antonella was the perfect host, everything was luxurious, wonderful shower, good quality bedding & very comfortable. Also, a quiet area that is safe. It is in the heart of the Sassi so you can soak up the atmosphere.

Excellent location in Matera, Ms. Antonella was so nice that she was worried for us because our flight was very late. Room was so nice and clean. Bed and mattress was excellent.

Nothing! We struggled a little trying to stop water from going all over the bathroom as there is no shower door.

What a stunning place. Everything feels very luxurious and is spotlessly clean. The spa bath was lovely and we were left a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy which was a nice touch too. Every morning we went up on to the roof terrace to watch the sun rise, the views were breathtaking.

While we enjoyed everything about our stay, having breakfast on-site would have made it even better.

Our stay at Matera was unforgettable! Brilliant location for exploring on foot. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.We parked the car on day one and didn't need it until the end of our stay, which was ideal for soaking up the charm of this beautiful city. Wandering through the Sassi district felt like stepping back in time. I'd highly recommend packing comfortable walking shoes...this will make the difference when walking on the cobblestone streets.

Everything was perfect. Maybe I would extend the checkout until 11 am as 10 am seems a bit tight.

Great apartment, with a beautiful rooftop. There's plenty of space, making the stay extremely comfortable. the jacuzzi is definitely a plus, so are the welcome drinks (including a bottle of sparkling wine). The location is perfect to explore the Sassi of Matera and I would definitely stay here if (hopefully soon!) I come back to this beautiful land.

It was a beautiful blend between modern and ancient. Located in the middle of the “sassi cavernoso” area and with a wonderful terrace that gave us a fantastic overview of all the city.

The location, the terrace and the interior design. We booked late at night and everything went smoothly with the check in. They were kind enough to let us check out later.
