The drive there was a little difficult, but managable. We arrived on motorbikes and managed not to slip on the gravel. I wouldnt adivse it in the rain tho. Also there is noone to call if you need early check in. We tried to reach someone because it was supposed to rain and we wanted to shorten the route, but noone picked up or could help. The actual stay was great tho!

It was extremely spacious for a great price. We stayed for one night only but wished we couöd have extended. The view is great and theres beautiful and very quiet surrounding.

The communication and check in was inefficient. They send you a link to register your stay and don’t communicate without it done. The issue for us was that we booked last minute and could not download the registration form from our phones on the cellular network. So just be aware and complete the form as early as you can. In the end, it worked out fine for us since we arrived just before dinner time and thus staff were there. The other thing to mention is that the bed is up a very narrow circular staircase which may be hard/dangerous for older people or those with balance issues. The room has a kitchen but it is non functional except for the refrigerator/freezer.

Beautiful setting on a really functional winery and restaurant. Very peaceful and relaxing. The Brunello wine they produce is excellent. The owner’s husband runs the restaurant and was able to serve us a bottle of Brunello at sunset and have us taste their rose as well.

There were no staff in person at the location. The communication about check-in was confusing. The apartment features a kitchen, but it is not usable. The 2km gravel access road could be a disadvantage (tho it was an advantage for us :)). The big road is close, although there is no problems with noise.

It is in a privileged location and the apartment is huge. The pool is a nice feature after a hot cycling under the toscan sun.

The bedroom was up a steep flight of stairs which will not suit guests that struggle with climbing stairs and the stove in the kitchen did not work.

Aldo was a great host and the room was modern. We arrived early which he accommodated and gave us both a glass of wine to drink while we were waiting for the room to be ready.

Aldo was amazing. He made our stay special. He was attentive to detail especially during the wine cellar tour and during dinner. His food was great- amazing primo, delicious fresh filled pasta and eggless tiramisu. His speciality was the wine 🍷 super! Thanks for your sterling hospitality. The view from the bed was simply perfect- lined Cypress trees.

The apartment is excellent, everything is top-notch, but the kitchen is a DISASTER. Nowhere in the listing did it mention that the kitchen was out of order, and the owner didn’t answer the phone afterward. We are impressed with everything else, but a major issue is having no water or electricity in the kitchen. Pay attention to that!

The room could use some basic stuff like water glasses, maybe a kettle to make a tea or coffee and maybe a chair or a sofa. The only place you can sit is your bed or an outdoor seating area.

No cups, the mirror in the bathroom was hung too high to get much use, nowhere to hang things up (coat hooks?), no chairs, couldn't find the remote for the tv None of these things were a big deal. Just little touches that could make put stay a little nicer.

You have to do a self-checkin before online, this can be easily overseen. The staff was not very polite towards me when I arrived at the property. Even though I had made the online check in I went to the reception to ask about my room, this was apprently wrong to do. I did not feel welcome here.

The area was amazingly beautiful. If you have a car its easy to arrive otherwise its hard to get there.

There is no breakfast at the property. Booking.com should remove this from the description of the room as it makes you think that you have a private pool: "This suite's standout feature is the pool with a view." We were looking for the pool 5 minutes walking around the house and it turned out that it was on the roof of the winery across the street. :) No big deal but I do not like to be misleaded. Pool area and pool itself do not encourage you to stay there, lack of atmosphere, cleanness and comfort.

It is great value for money, the owner is a talented chef and winemaker, very interesting experience, you can try a wine-tasting menu and dinner for an extra charge, which he will do for you. Otherwise, you will need to go back to the nearest village and check for some dining options. The property is located next to vineyards with a lovely view of Montalcino city.

A little gem! it’s a working winery with accommodation and a pool. We had a tour of the winery, learning it’s history and an amazing dinner accompanied by their wines. Aldo and staff were so very welcoming and we can’t fault the hospitality. A great little place to stay and use as a base to explore Tuscany. We will be back!

There was no one to let us in. Fortunately, some other guest opened the gate for us. I would not recommend this place to people with sports car, or a sporty suspension - it is really in the middle of a field and you need to drive quite a long dirt road. Also, not recommened to people without car. The room was ok, but more furniture would be helpful - there was only a bed and a small table, but nothing to sit on, while the room was quite big.

I liked it was in the middle of nowhere. I had a new SUV, so at least I had a chance to test its capabilities :D The room was big with a nice big bathroom. Also good value for money. Aldo showed up the next day and he was nice but we talked only very shortly.

The old gentleman welcoming us there didn't speak english, so he had to call someone to talk to us. The road there is gravel and not very nice. Room was very large, but we didn't have any table or chairs inside. There very quite a few bugs and flys. We only had one roll of toilet paper for 2 days.

Excellent stay and highly recommend taking a cooking class with Aldo. Really fun, good food, and plenty of excellent wine. Their Montalcino di Brunello and Rosato are fantastic wines.

The shower was not working very well, but not a big deal.

Before staying the communication may be a little slow if requiring information, but once you are there dining with them is a treat and the owners take care of you like a family friend! The rooms are very nice, with a beautiful view…and the wine is amazingly good.
