Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesExcellent location, very modern inside, don’t get discouraged by the building Florence is a very old city, no different than the rest of Italy

LebanonWe enjoyed this hotel and we were happy that we were given a bigger room. The room was amazing with an impressive ceiling design. The location was perfect, short walking distance to almost all the main attractions in Florence. The breakfast was good and hotel had an outdoor terrace which was lovely in the morning and at night. We arrived by car and the nearby parking garage (Garage Giglio) is very convenient.

United StatesNothing. It was a wonderful stay.
We were extremely fortunate to find this place after the AC wasn't working in our original accommodations and we had to quickly find another place for our 4-night stay. Exceeded our expectations. Super modern features. Comfortable. Elevator. Friendly staff. Excellent value for the money. Would ABSOLUTELY stay there again if we ever return to Florence. Great location as well. Close to the sites, and the train station.

This was my second stay here and I booked it last minute. The staff are amazing and friendly and were able to communicate in English. Short walk to train station. Location fantastic and an easy walk to The Duomo area. Great restaurant across the street. Beds comfortables.

United KingdomThe room sound-proofing could be better as i heard some noises from the other room. I found it to be expensive, but i think this is more of a general comment regarding Florence. All hotel prices are quite pricey.
Great location, the room was perfect. Bed is very comfy. The air con was in perfect working order (seemed like a new air con system). A modern TV with ability to watch Netflix. The room had everything we needed and it exceeded my expectations of this stay. At first i was hesitant in staying in a "boutique" hotel and not in a big chain hotel, but i now think this is a plus as they are able to manage the rooms better with up-to-date equipment and decor. I will be looking out for boutique hotels going forwards!

United StatesIt was ideal and perfect for us.
The location was fantastic—perfect for a brief 5-10 minute walk to the Duomo, yet situated on a quiet and peaceful street. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It included a mini fridge, air conditioning, and the bathroom facilities were new and well-maintained. As someone with celiac disease, I appreciated that they provided a gluten-free breakfast every morning. Additionally, the two restaurants at the end of the street offer entirely gluten-free menus and are certified to do so. There is also a dedicated gluten-free gelato shop just one block away, along with a grocery store that has a large gluten-free section. We will for sure be staying here again on our next visit to Florence.

United StatesThe rooms are located in the main lobby close to the reception and breakfast area and in some instances, you have noise mainly in the morning.
The hotel is located in an area that you can walk to all the key attractions, close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but have the comfort that you need for few days in the city. You can walk to the main Train Station, thus local transportation is not necessary. The breakfast is fair with reasonable alternatives of food

PortugalBreakfast not worth the extra payment, very basic. Should have information that the lobby is on the first floor of an old building. Very confusing (and scary to think we were wronged) at the beginning, to find the lobby. At check-out wanted us to pay for bar item we didn't consume - be attentive to the final bill.

FinlandHotel’s location is perfect, Duomo 200m, Medici chappel 90m. All ”must to see” near and walkable . Railway station too (only 8 min away) Room was clean and it cleaned every day. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was quite Italian, there was some salty and sweet to eat, not very much, but enough for us. Near the hotel is many foodplaces (trattorias, osterias) and food is very tasty and cheap. We enjoyed staying Corte dei Sogni. Very peaceful and silent hotel. We had our earplugs wlth us and never needed to use them!
