Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyMarking the location in Google maps would make it easier to find - for us it was quite confusing and we spent 30' trying to locate it. The sink and shower in the bathroom were clogged; it would be nice if the staff checked this before guests arrive. On our first night, we were accommodated in a room where half of the bathroom blind was missing (which meant anyone passing by could see directly into the bathroom - very uncomfortable!!). After we complaint they changed us to another room - again, this could have been prevented... The breakfast was in another location, 3' by car but not walkable. A bit annoying if you stay for a longer time.
New place in a quiet surrounding, very kind staff. The mattress was comfortable; overall clean.

JapanWe visited in the summer. Swimming in the pool, strolling through the vineyards, drinking delicious wine, it was like being in a dream. The staff, Susanna, was really kind, and even though my English was poor, she patiently and politely explained everything to me. Thank you! !

ItalyThe staff did not impress us this time: nobody was waiting for us for check in, we called the number that we were suppose to and nobody picked up (we called 5 times) so we had to go to the main Massimago villa and it took us good 5 minutes to look for personnel around the villa. Nobody was at the pool bar so we had to look again for someone to ask for a glass of wine - btw all the employees were at the bar talking and drinking. Similar situations happen few times during our stay. Overall nice hotel and I would return but the quality of the service is not there.
The accommodation itself is very clean, nice design, comfortable size of the room and nice working AC that is necessary during the summer months. The breakfast was also really nice, but the pool and the garden is what makes the accommodation so special.

HungaryWe had high expectations for the accommodation, but unfortunately we left disappointed in many ways. Junior suite: the room was billed as a junior suite, and the description indicated a separate bunk room. The general interpretation of junior suite is that junior suites are smaller than a regular suite but more importantly, typically don't have a solid separation between the bedrooms and living area. In contrast, our room was a single room, with no sofa or any other seating, and we had to bring a chair from the hallway to sit down. The internal height was also down to under 2 metres in some places. View: the room was advertised as having a view, but the only window ended about 1 metre high, about sitting on the ground you could see anything from the garden. Breakfast: although we knew in advance and the breakfast served in a wooden box seemed nice, by the fifth day we could have done with a change, and let's face it, this take it or leave it attitude is far from Italian gastronomy. We were therefore forced to supplement our breakfast elsewhere. Information and staff: on arrival we were given information about where our accommodation was (we were shown this), but beyond that we had to ask for everything ourselves, and in some cases they were not very friendly, e.g. when we were looking for the pool, a person who looked like a manager sent us to reception, saying it was not his job to show us the pool, which was about 50 metres away. And speaking of pools: maybe we are too demanding, but we were asked to use a white towel for an outdoor pool for 6 days. Also no pool service, in the classical sense. However, they did not forget to remind us each time to book a table in the restaurant for the evening. Well, we went somewhere else just for that reason alone and we didn't regret it. Electric car charging: when I asked in advance if it was possible, they said yes.
Nice location, freshly renovated.
