Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MaltaEverything! As soon as you enter you feel very welcome. Very friendly and helpful staff, always with a smile. The room is very nice, modern and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and the pool area is very relaxing. You can also have dinner at their onsite restaurant for a good price. The whole place is spotless. It is a short drive to Pompeii and Naples. We will visit again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

DenmarkThere are a lot of events going on at the place in the evenings, But we know that when we booked. You can’t hear it in the rooms. You can’t bring your own drinks or food - only to your room.
Just perfect stay. New, clean and lovely facilities. Breakfast by the pool. Olive trees, Lemon trees, wild berries. Very nice pool.

United KingdomI stayed at Corte San Lorenzo with my partner and 18-month old in May 2025. The staff were incredible and nothing was too much trouble. They stayed late to check us in after a late flight and even organised room service for us on arrival. Lots of great recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. The location was perfectly situated between Pompei and Amalfi coast. The scenery is breath taking of the surrounding mountains. There was a good selection at breakfast and the pool, playground and grounds are lovely (the pictures don't do it justice). Would highly recommend and would love to go back and stay again!

United KingdomThe hotel was beautiful with wonderful gardens, pool and outdoor dining area surrounded by mountains. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped and the meals we had in the hotel were excellent. Ideally suited to visiting Pompeii, Naples, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast with a car and public transport very affordable with the hotel able to give lifts to the train stations . We also used the bus system after buying tickets from the local tabac. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the breakfast staff who worked so hard and went out of their way to give us an amazing experience.

RomaniaThis hotel is defined by good taste and luxury. We had a wonderful experince. The rooms were new, very clean and very well taste decorated. The breakfast, which was served in the main hall of the hotel, was delicious and it had a lot of options to choose from. I think that one of the most impressive parts of the accommodation was the graden. It was absolutely beautiful and well maintained, with a garden of lemons, which was absolutely stunning. Overall, everything is very well maintained, and it makes you feel absolutely royal.

United KingdomThe hotel is mostly used for events in the evenings, so we heard some noise on 2 nights out of the 4 nights we stayed there. However it didn’t bother us too much and it was actually quite fun entertainment to see out of our window! There was a bit of a language barrier (we are British) so we needed to use Google translate to communicate a lot, but it wasn’t too much of an issue!
Beautiful grounds with an amazing pool! Nice cocktails by the pool and they bring free snacks when you order a drink. Lots of free parking available. Great air con Comfy bed We had a rental car and it was easy to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Amalfi coast and Sorrento all whilst staying at this hotel (max 1 hour drive to all these places). So for us the location was perfect! We checked out a couple of local bars in the areas and they weren’t too bad. It’s not a fancy area at all but it has what you need. The hotel restaurant has really great food too.

United Stateswe had dinner in the breakfast room. The food was incredible however, the tv was on and news was on. We asked if it could be turned off as we were the only ones near the tv and were told no. Not what we like during dinner.
it was beautiful. I loved looking at all the trees and flowers

United KingdomCompared to other hotels I've stayed in this one appears behind in being sustainable and eco. There's no notices about recycling, or reusing towels. It's also still soap bars and shower gel sachets - it would be nice to see these replaced with refillable dispensers to be better for the planet. It'd be nice to know if recycling left out is actually recycled and not thrown in the bin. The breakfast was a bit inconsistent, with items rarely topped up. The first day there was one peice of ham and 3 slices of cheese, the next day the meat and cheese tray was full. The first day there was no cereal at all. The next day 5 jars of different types. These same small jars were gradually emptied and by morning 4 it was down to 1 jar with bran cereal in. Mattresses were pretty hard for my liking. On 2 nights there were fireworks at 12.40am that woke us up. Be aware this is a venue used more for events than guests staying over. Another night fireworks were more reasonable at 9.30pm and we managed to see them from our room which was good. The 2 later nights may have even down to waiting for it to be drier so possibly not normal.
The rooms were a good size The hotel looked high quality There were lots of staff members, always cleaning the outside spaces (e.g. Sweeping leaves) and keeping the place looking its best. The bread and bakery items at breakfast were always fresh.

United KingdomThere was a birthday party on and my room was close to it. However it finished at a reasonable hour so I could get some sleep - but all the positives of staying here far exceeded that! it is far out from the tourist areas so ideally you need a car although the staff overly helpful. also its nice to relax away from the busy tourist areas.
The swimming pool area The general decor of the hotel and room was tasteful and exceptionally clean The staff were exlempary, they went above and beyond in driving me round everywhere (for fee) as a solo traveller and helping me to organise my trip

Netherlands- bathroom had luxurious bath, but no standing shower. Had to shower sitting in the bath, holding the showerhead by hand as there was no standard for the showerhead. Very uncomfortable. - focus was on (birthday)parties in evening and during the day (weekend). - very thin walls between the rooms. We were able to follow every conversation of our neighbors and usage of toilet etc.
- very clean - modern room - nice pool - close to Pompei and Napoli

NetherlandsA couple of things were a bit frustrating. Firstly, according to their profile they offer sun beds, but initially they were not put around the pool and when we initially asked they were not sure whether that would be possible, but after a few hours they put some sun beds around the pool. Funny enough, the next day the sun beds were all put around the pool, even with umbrellas. In the room it mentions that you have the possibility to lunch, but according to the reception this is only possible after 1 June, which is a bit unfortunate. The breakfast was also a bit poor and even though they serve until 10, if you arrive around 9 it's all empty. The pictures of the breakfast are definitely not the reality. Lastly, even though the accommodation also hosts (possible) events and we were aware of this, it would be nice if the hotel can aware the guests at arrival, but the most annoying part was that people of the event were making noise in the hallway and probably finding the hall way a nice get-away of the event, as it provide some quietness. This is kind of annoying for the hotel guests.
The location of this hotel is good and the parking facility is good. Very clean rooms and the staff is friendly.
