You do have to haul your luggage into the city and out- so pack lightly if able.

A lot of Cortona is hiking.... be prepared. This lovely Rooftop Nest is high up, but it comes at a price...you have to carry luggage up 3 flights of steps. But it is definitely worth it!!

The apartment was lovely and well-equipped. It was centrally located between the University of Georgia campus and the main Piazza. It was a short but steep walk to pop down for breakfast in the morning. The washer was excellent for our travels - I could have brought a smaller suitcase. The balconies and the views are spectacular. Everything was beautifully presented, clean, fresh, and attractive.

Oh my. Margherita was a perfect host, and the apartment could not have been more wonderful. The views of the rooftops and countryside were breathtaking, and in the morning the many beautiful swifts swooping and singing in front of the balcony was an unexpected joy. Margherita anticipated everything we might need and the apartment was well provisioned. We have been spoiled I'm afraid for any future trips to Italy!

Nothing not to like.

This is a gem. Immaculately clean, well supplied, cozy, and the best vibes. Comfortable beds. The views are breathtaking. Pics can’t do it justice. Lots of stairs so be aware if u have issues with them but worth it if u can. Margherita will go above and beyond to make sure u feel welcome and taken care of. She is such a kind caring human. A+++

Not really didn't like, more like a suggestion for the future. We stayed for nearly two weeks. We are the kind to not make it very late on the road even though on vacation, so every night we sat on the couch and watched TV🤗sometimes we already ate out, or we cooked dinner or we ordered pizza in the village and ate it "at home". So a bigger TV would have had our preference, preferably with working USB ports for own movie sticks.

Abusolutely everything! We were ready to move to Cortona and live there for the rest of the time😁 We took pics everyday, even on the foggy or rainy day. Everyday was a sight to behold. There were days we stayed in Cortona and explored the village, walking around and enjoying and other days we went out and explored Tuscany. Naturally we aren't done, not even with Cortona, there is so much more to discover, so we plan to come back. Very spaciuos. All the amenities, inclusive coffeepods (everywhere else we went there were machines but no pods, but no worries, we even bought more pods and left a few because we used them all😁) and other snacks. Cozy living room with TV. Nearby free parking, you'll have to walk like 8 to 10 minutes maybe till you reach the house, but we always took longer since we always stopped to look aroumd, take pictures, etc etc. I mean, I'm on vacation and not in a hurry. And our lovely host Margherita was ever kind and helpful and ready with recommendations. She met us at arrival and showed us the way to the house.

A gorgeous property with lovely views across Cortona and beyond. Super comfy beds, attention to small details around the place which meant you had everything you needed. A really warm welcome and location is perfect! A really great experience all round.

The apartment has stunning views from each window. It is spacious, well equipped and spotless. The owner was so helpful, collecting us from the car park, helping with luggage, suggested things to do and made an excellent recommendation for dinner. We loved the apartment from the very beginning of our 9 days long stay. Margherita the owner of the apartment welcomed us in the apartment after having booked a taxi to pick us up at the railway station in Camucia. Her and the taxi driver both helped us to carry the luggage up to the apartment 😃 The Rooftop Nest is so wonderful and very well equipped with all what you will need to have a great time. It has got kitchen paper, plenty of toilet paper, olive oil, salt and other spices. Detergent for both washing machine and dish washer + a whole box of jams, toast bread, Nutella, tea and coffee. Amazing service.The views from both balconies and from every window are more than stunning. We have spent hours just admiring these wonderful views. We can only say that if you plan to stay here in the Rooftop Nest you will not be disappointed. Thank you Margherita for your amazing hospitality😃

The host, Margarita, was just fantastic, so helpful, organised a day trip for us , taxis, suggested places to eat, couldn’t have been better. The apartment had terrific views, it was near the main piazzas, only difficulty was the steep roads, you need to be reasonably fit

I am not sure from where to start how an amazing stay it was at Cortona’s Rooftop Nest! The owner Margherita is such a nice, kind & welcoming person! She not only took a ride for us to apartaments but also booked a table for a dinner at one of her the most favorite restaurants! This experience was just incredible! We stayed here just for one night, but it was truly a night to remember. Not only apartaments, but all Cortona is such a unique and authentic place on Earth. The apartamens itself is so so beautiful and clean. Every corner makes you feel at home. The view…I have no words about it, you just need to see it yourself. We didn’t have a chance to see a sunset, but the view was no less impressive. I hope we will come back here one day - both Cortona and especially at Margherita’s apartaments. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!🫶

Stairs - 3 flights of steep stairs, just so people are aware with luggage etc

Everything 😊 Margarita (host) was fabulous in every way, helpful answering all questions & helping us book taxi etc.. Restaurant bookings as well as it was Easter and very busy. Margarita meet us at our car and took us up to the apartment Beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. kitchen is great and OMG the views are spectacular 💗 Highly recommend this unit. Absolutely nothing

The apartment is fabulous with 2 fantastic balconies overlooking the mountains and the main square of the town. It is well furnished and the kitchen is functional. Lots of cooking supplies and plenty of snacks coffees and tea. The host is fantastic with communication and Will drive you and your luggage from the free parking lot to the apartment. Nothing was too much trouble for Margherita.

Once reason we booked this apartment was because it had a washing machine. Because of the language barrier, it was a bit hard to understand how to use it. Written instructions would have been nice.

The apartment was great although our host was having surgery so we were met by a friend who was wonderful. We had a rental car so the parking was challenging but they met us and helped us to the apartment with our luggage. VERY ACCOMODATING! Loved the provided snacks and we went to the market so enjoyed eating at the apartment.
