How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Miss TV
Small and clean but comfortable room for short stay. Location perfect, very close to center. Convenience of check in. We arrived after 5 pm and we received instructions how to enter the building and get the key. Breakfast buffet with many options. The staff is very professional and helpful. You must pay the parking 5 eur for one day but for me there are no problems with that.

Everything about our stay was excellent.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Brixen, just a 5-minute walk from everything. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the hotel was very clean. A great choice for anyone visiting the city.

It’s conference hotel and there was a conference happening during my stay
Good location in the city, good breakfast buffet with lots of options, staff gave me a key to the bike shed so I could access it outside reception hours

The rooms were clean, but the floor could have been cleaner as well as the walls. Especially in the bathroom the walls were a bit nasty, in general even though it’s fairly new there is plenty of stains on the walls and curtains.
The location was great right in the middle of old town. Close to walk to everything and still only 15 mins to the Plose ski resort.

The fact that it closes reception at 5 pm. If u r stuck outside the parking door would not open. However at the door they have n emergency umber and you can call that and someone willl help. The route to the hotel in maps takes you through a no entry zone and hence we had to change the route to find the place. Also an electric kettle in the room would be nice. Our building also did not have aloft which might be useful for old people.
Very clean and nice comfy room and bed with clean and equipped private bath. Pretty near the town centre with walkable places to eat. The staff is kind .Comfortable and quiet place.

Check-in was a mix-up. We were told by Booking.com that we could check in between 14.00 and 17.00 on Sunday, and we chose 17.00. We were then informed we should be there between 14.00 and 15.00. So we changed our train time. We were then told that we would be sent an access code, and no code came. We arrived at 13.00 and were told we must wait an hour even though reception was manned. We got to our room at 14.20. Shower poor long time for hot water to come then just a drizzle.
Room simple but very clean. Location perfect.

Very simple equipped, no water cooker no coffee tee bags, of course also no refrigerator…it’s like youth hostel’s double room version.

Only downside was no AC - was a summer stay during a hot spell and the room was too warm at night. But everything else was excellent.
Fantastic location, very close to the centre and next to the river. Very helpful staff and spotless room.

No air conditioning in the bedrooms. The accommodation was not a hotel but bedrooms in an educational/theological institution. This is fine but there were very few of the facilities one would expect for the price being charged (i.e. hotel price).
Good location close in historic centre and not too far from railway station. Clean. Nice staff.
