Cusanus Akademie offers lodging and breakfast near Bressanone’s Old Town. There is easy access to the river trail. Rooms are very basic with dorm like vibe. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and something we looked forward to.

Our room was on the second floor in a concrete building without a lift. We had to lug our bags up four sets of steps which was a challenge for 80+ year olds. Everything else was adequate.

The location is excellent. We could leave the car in the accommodation’s parking (5€/day) and visit the city on foot. Breakfast is great and the rooms as well — not luxurious, but with everything essential. The air conditioning worked perfectly.

On August 15 the rooms were not cleaned because it was a holiday. We were not informed about this, and when we returned to the room we only had the wet towels we had left in the sink to be replaced. Fortunately, we arrived before 17:00 (after that time it is difficult to find staff) and managed to get fresh towels at the reception. We know this is not a hotel, but at the very least guests should have been informed. Moreover, the price is quite high for this kind of service.

It was basic/ simple in terms of the room but it was spotlessly clean. The Cusanus offered a great breakfast and had a great location. It was ideal for our needs- a stopover before heading up into the Dolomites for a walking holiday. We left our car at the property when we went walking - the car park price was 5 euro per day!!!

Small and clean but comfortable room for short stay. Location perfect, very close to center. Convenience of check in. We arrived after 5 pm and we received instructions how to enter the building and get the key. Breakfast buffet with many options. The staff is very professional and helpful. You must pay the parking 5 eur for one day but for me there are no problems with that.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Brixen, just a 5-minute walk from everything. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the hotel was very clean. A great choice for anyone visiting the city.

Everything about our stay was excellent.

Simple, but very comfortable room that has all you need for a short stay. Super clean bathroom, I liked it a lot. Comfortable bed.

There is no AC, minus 3 degrees from outside is not AC. No mini fridge, reception was poor. This dorm room, good breakfast.

Breakfast was nice, it is in a School which was very different, the front desk people were extremely informative and nice

I like my accommodation to be simple, clean, quiet and comfortable, and Cusanus Academy ticks all four boxes. Wonderful friendly staff. Good breakfast. Affordable car parking. Good location in the centre of town.

The location was great right in the middle of old town. Close to walk to everything and still only 15 mins to the Plose ski resort.

The rooms were clean, but the floor could have been cleaner as well as the walls. Especially in the bathroom the walls were a bit nasty, in general even though it’s fairly new there is plenty of stains on the walls and curtains.

I was positively surprised by Cusanus! The staff, the rooms (Very simple, which is perfect for me), the breakfast and the placement of the academy made my stay very enjoyable When you want an affordable room including a good breakfast - Then I recommend staying at Cusanus! The extremely helpful and nice staff is a big plus :D

I loved the cleanliness and simplicity of the room, where I had everything I needed. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Good breakfast. The whole place feels peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely use it again.

Very clean and nice comfy room and bed with clean and equipped private bath. Pretty near the town centre with walkable places to eat. The staff is kind .Comfortable and quiet place.

The fact that it closes reception at 5 pm. If u r stuck outside the parking door would not open. However at the door they have n emergency umber and you can call that and someone willl help. The route to the hotel in maps takes you through a no entry zone and hence we had to change the route to find the place. Also an electric kettle in the room would be nice. Our building also did not have aloft which might be useful for old people.
