A/c did not cool as well as I would expect!

I enjoyed the small hotel feel and the mix of old with modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The food was very good! Also, my husband and I enjoyed a night cap on the rooftop!!

This experience was so beautiful I’d really like to gate-keep it. From the free upgrade to an absolutely gorgeous suite overlooking the sea, to the stellar service, this hotel ticks every mark there is. The best coffee to hand on every floor and area of this establishment, a gym, a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the sunset, the list goes on and on. My stay included breakfast and I loved that once seated they present you with a selection of fresh fruit, cheeses and cold cuts and eggs how you like them. I could honestly write so much more about this absolute gem of a place nestled in the old town of Cagliari and exuding true Sardinian charm.

Unfortunately, the TV was switching on randomly at night, most likely because of other hotel clients trying to connect through the local network. We had to unplug it.

The staff was very polite and helpful, and the rooms were quite spacious and decorated in a fun way. It was very quiet during the night. The restaurant serves tasty food and the rooftop bar offers a wonderful view of the city. There is quite a walk up the hill to get to the hotel, and it has a gym, so it is a perfect fit for active people.

Before booking, we noticed that the place also worked as a pizzeria, so we thought we would have to walk through the middle of the restaurant with all the people eating, but that wasn’t the case. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Enrico (I think that was his name), who showed us the whole place with so much passion. The room was incredible—beautiful in every way, spacious, and with furniture that matched perfectly. We went for some drinks on the terrace and then had dinner at the restaurant. Everything was delicious, as was the breakfast. The hotel’s façade completely won me over, and the staff was super attentive and helpful. I 100% recommend it

The hotel has only just opened but there’s a few little things missed in my opinion. Personally a full length mirror in a room is a must. A dressing table too would be great especially in a room so large. Not enough plug sockets.

This hotel has been sympathetically and beautifully refurbished to a very high standard (opened early June). It is immaculate. Staff were very kind and accommodating. The roof terrace is perfect for a sunset aperitif. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant as we only had one night before an early flight but they were very kind to bring us a fruit and pastry tray for breakfast. It is in a beautiful location approx 20 minute walk to the port (quite a lot of steps and cobbles). We stayed in the Marco Polo room which was huge with the most beautiful bathroom. We’d love to stay here again and definitely recommend. It’s stunning. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything was perfect :)

Wonderful and incredibly comfortable stay. A unique hotel with a quirky personality and charm that preserves the old parts of its building yet blends in modern comforts and style beautifully. The Roald Amundsen room was amazingly spacious with beautiful chandeliers hanging from the high timber beams; the bed and pillows were top notch comfort; the marbled bathroom with double vanity, the Smeg appliances, and everything else about this hotel are evident in quality and attention to detail. The staff are positively warm and welcoming, genuinely happy to help. A shoutout to Tommaso who was super efficient in service at breakfast as well as the pizza restaurant within the hotel (we enjoyed a dinner there). Thank you also to the gentlemen with the red glasses (sorry we didn’t get your name) who showed us around and also to Fabrizio at reception.

Everything is perfect

A fabulous discovery right in the historical center of Cagliari. This new hotel has an incredible charm, the concept is exceptional, the suite was big, the silence perfect and it's an amazing old palace with a basement carved more than 2000 years ago where they had the fantastic idea to install the restaurant tables.

Our bed had a bottom metal rail, and being quite tall I couldn’t extend out fully when I was sleeping. Great otherwise though.

Loved everything about this hotel, the staff was amazing and they make you feel welcomed. The hotel is beyond beautiful… they have the caves that you can walk down to see them.

The place was so beautiful and relaxing that it was difficult to leave.

The aesthetic, the amenities, and the high level of cleanliness of the place were exceptional. But what truly set this place apart from anywhere else I have recently stayed - and I have recently stayed at several places - is the dedicated, knowledgeable, and truly considerate staff. High end hotel new to the market. We took the risk as very few comments available. Glad we did. Quality is visible everywhere. This is more 4*+ than 4. Food was exceptional. This hotel topped our holiday. For the price currently, this is exceptional value.

Nothing bad :)

The room was spacious, very beautiful and equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. The outside area is also comfortable and pleasant to stay! It is a very new hotel, so some things are getting set up still. The service was excellent: attentive, welcoming and very flexible: we could check in a bit earlier and the breakfast was always well prepared, we also could extend our stay on additional charge and the staff was very accomodating to the needs. There is a nice pizza restaurant and a cozy terrace at the top. We would definitely come back and recommend this place.

The room itself didn't have much of a view, but the roof-top bar terrace does have a great one.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a king sized bed, and was equipped with a high-end fridge and espresso machine. The deco it wonderful and included the breakfast was plentiful and flavorful. The staff was very attentive, too.

The hot water in my room was very limited, but that would be the only unfortunate flaw of the place. It might’ve been because they are brand new though.

Above a pizza restaurant I would’ve loved to try, the entrance, staff and the rooms are amazing. Renovated so beautifully, it was the perfect one-night stay in Cagliari. I would return.
