The apartment is on the second floor (stairs only). The bedroom is down a hallway so it’s fairly private. There’s no lock on your door so the cat knows how to get in. The bed is super comfortable, great wifi and the view out the window is nice. The a/c works well. It’s an option if you don’t mind sharing with other people.

As ,exaggerated‘ as it might feel when I’m writing this now.. but this review feels like the easiest one I’ve ever written! As much as I could & would like to write.. the words that I feel like sum up my stay the most is that there is just still so much gratitude & love inside me that I was meant to find Simona’s place! I was allowed to experience & receive so much kindness & effort, in the most thoughtful way; regarding my breakfast for instance or any question I had. Simona is a wonderful soul, and in my eyes a gift for everyone that is allowed to meet her - It has been a gift for me. Wherefore it feels the easiest for me to recommend her place from the bottom of my heart!

It’s impossible to find anything negative. Simona is really the sweetest and Carlo is very kind and helpful. They deserve an even higher rating.

Even before arriving the contact with Simona was nice. Knowing we were visiting Ravenna first, she already gave us information what to visit and where to eat. When we arrived her enthusiasm was just amazing. She gave us very good info for our visits to Faenza and Bologna. The room was perfectly clean! The breakfast was really good. If there’s anything you need, Simona will ask you for sure. Obviously Ragu was the funniest cat around. Thank you for the kind gift when we left!

Didn't like having to leave Faenza!

Have stayed in many places all over Italy, and without doubt, Simona and Carlo were the most generous, considerate and caring hosts I have experienced. The apartment is quirky and interesting, with great bathroom and lovely comfy bed. And a fantastic position in the heart of this delightful little city.

The suite of rooms - private bathroom, kitchenette/ sitting area and bedroom - is part of a beautiful apartment in an old house in the centre of Faenza which is a lovely old town. Simona, my hostess, has filled it with cats and a spectacular collection of art and ceramics, some of the latter made by herself. She herself is absolutely lovely - always wanting to help but never intrusive. It was great to meet and talk with her. Will definitely be back.

The rooms (bedroom and small room with table, fridge, microwave and kettle) are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The entrance is through Simona and her husband's living room, but the rooms felt private. Simona is a great host and her knowledge of the city: restaurants, sites etc. was very helpful. Breakfast was ample, fresh and tasty. the house is centrally located and not far from the station.

We loved absolutely everything in Simona's house. As I love cats, I could feel like being at home. Simona gave us a lot of useful additional information about the nearby places, so we had the possibility to make a trip to the medieval city Brisighella (10 min by train). If we had more time we could have visited more places and restos in Faenza. Please, remember to give the correct time for breakfast. I made a big faux pas to come too late. I would love to come back. The location is excellent, not only super easy to find but close to the old city, the famous Museo delle Ceramiche is a few steps from the house and there is plenty of restaurants nearby.

It was really cozy rooms, nice people and frienly cats. Great place to stay!

I liked it very much. I will definitely be back again. I like cats a lot so it wasn’t any problem to meet them there. Everything clean and cozy. The Master is very hospitable. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The bed is comfortable and the blanket is warm. Everything is well thought out.

I'd like to have stayed longer.

Perfect in every little detail, central location but my room at the back was quiet and peaceful and also clean and spacious. Supply of biscuits, tea and coffee were welcome, and my breakfast was one of the best I've had. The human hosts are charming and made me feel at home, while the feline hosts were very well behaved. I love cats and it was great to have them around, but I was assured they can be kept out of the way for anyone who is less fond of them or allergic. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. It felt like home, a warm and cosy apartment in the centre of the city. Simona is a beautiful lady, that's why she created this beautiful world of five. If you love cats and ceramics (like I do), this is your place!

Great hosts, very welcoming and friendly throughout. Accommodation private, spacious and comfortable, with additional facilities in adjacent room for guests wanting to do their own catering. Comprehensive choice of products for breakfast
