Spacious room in a quiet setting

Damaranto is a delightful little hotel inside the walls of the tiny medieval town of Soave. Signor Martino was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and there was a good choice for breakfast, which included fresh fruit, yogurt and good coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Soave.

It's a pity that there are not little fridges or mini bars in the rooms.

We were made welcome from the moment we arrived and every request was granted. We loved the rooms and Damarante appealed to us instantly!!

There was not much that I didn't like. My room was facing the street and I could hear the cars, but during the night the street is quiet. In the restaurant there is no menu, as the chef cooks the food that she could buy fresh in the market, but there is choice of 2-3 different dishes.

Centrally located in Soave, with a nice view on the Castello. The premises are nicely decorated, clean, the kitchen fresh and of high quality, the personnel helpful and very pleasant.

Was a big skylight over our bed, had a shade blind but we couldn't see a cover that blocked light. May have been us, we didn't want to break it but light woke us up very early

Lovely town that was perfect for out last night on way to Milan airport. Check was a bit difficult as resturant was closed and auto gate process not working. Once in gate ,key was waiting and access easy.

Booking.com had "Soave castle and garden view" under the description of our suite. We had a building wall as our view. We learned that room #1 had the castle view but our party was too large for the size of that room.

The owner made our experience very special. Martino was a joy to be around, service was impeccable. He even invited to sit with him when he had friends from out of town. We will come back for sure!

A very stylish renovated old house with very beautiful garden. Big room with high ceiling, bathtubs, designer bath equipment, soft towels. Elevator was a very good surprise. Location in very heart of Soave. Breakfast also nice, local food, good coffee. Don’t look for anything else near Verona. We hope that restaurant from Michelin guide will recover after COVID lack of tourists soon and also be opened!

No parking on site. The savoury breakfast items are a little bland for Northern American visitors. A little note that says: please ask for eggs and/or other items and we will be glad to make/provide them for you, would be really helpful.

The attitude of the staff was absolutely terrible and this is the reason for our lowest rate! They offer free parking (but only from 20:00 to 08:00 in the morning. (Parking in front is for 3 cars only). We arrived before 20:00 and you have to park outside of the city at a parking and then walk with all your suitcases to the hotel. There was a antique market on the day we arrived so there was NO parking space anywhere in the car park. We read that the hotel had a very nice restaurant and planned to have dinner there. When we arrived at the hotel there was NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER TO BE SEEN! None nobody at all! At the reception was a note with my name and the key. That was it. The restaurant was closed too. There was absolutely nobody to help. We tried too call as we needed some help. Nobody picked up the telephone. We have send messages via Booking.com but nobody actually was there. I asked to cancel my booking but that was not possible. After more than one hour somebody came out of the hotel to speak to me. (So there was staff after all but it was clear that this hotel does not care about giving any service to their guests.) This hotel just takes the money and give no respect to their guests and it shows how terrible the attitude of the hotel and their management was!) Stay out if you are not Italian! They obviously do not want to be involved with guest at all! Nice property but a lack of respect to their paying guests. If the hotel would have send an email (they could have used free google translate) that the restaurant is closed and information about the car park and antique market at least we would have had the choice to stay or cancel our booking. This management deserves my 1 point!

The hotel room was very nice and it a has a large shower. We had a good sleep.
