Fantastic staff - welcoming, helpful and smiling. Breakfast was GREAT! Happy hour everyday with snacks included + the complimentary drinks (beer/soda) was way more than can be expected. The ambiance and rooms were great. We were a large group there for a wedding party, staff was welcoming no matter what hour of the day we came home. Felt like way more than what can be expected! Will be back, for sure!

The stay was wonderful. The hotel was in walking distance (if you love walking) to the Duomo and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was quiet and well furnished with a good sized bathroom. Each night there was a happy hour with light food. Now, to the breakfast. Marcella was in charge of that. She was wonderful as was the generous breakfast. My daughter and I loved our 3 nights there and hated to leave.

The staff when we arrived as so helpful with our bags and check-in. At breakfast, there is a lot to choose from all delicious. The dining area is clean and inviting and the staff was excellent! They also offer apperitivo each day, inside the hotel sitting area or outside on their patio, very pretty. Thank you Hotel David for a pleasant stay!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like, it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

Everything, really. The staff were superb and the rooms great. The hospitality, breakfast, complimentary drinks and happy hour all outstanding. The air con in the bedrooms worked really well which was a godsend this summer.

We didn’t really like the breakfast. The food is just okay, nothing special, but the setting is a bit awkward and the area not very nice. On top of that, one has to know that the hotel is surrounded by big streets and very close to a major intersection. It is well isolated and tries to block itself away from it, but it still is not the most quaint surrounding and you will notice street noises. The location is also just ok and you are rather dependent on (very convenient) busses if it is summer and way too hot to walk all the way to the centre. Certain guests and the general clientele were a bit annoying, but that is nothing the hotel can do anything about :-)

This hotel is indeed very comfortable and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and way nicer and bigger than they seem online. Especially the front room with the balcony (15) was beautiful with a huge bathroom and super high ceilings! The bath products smell incredible. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the Happy Hour and free drinks throughout the day a great perk.

I would give it a 10 if they had better pillows. Softer, non synthetic would make the room perfect.

Convenient and quiet location. I prefer smaller hotels and this was perfect. My room was lovely - large, quiet, clean with a beautiful terrace. Big plus for the comfortable bed. Davide and Caterina were very kind for check in and check out.

We fell in love with the hotel, its so nice, stylish and comfy. It made our stay in Florence even more memorable. The breakfast was excellent! The location is great if you dont want to be in the middle of the center but still be able to walk to the centre. Parking was also huge bonus!

The location is perfect for walking all the must see sites in Florence. It's near restaurants, supermarket en next to Piazza Michelango (the hill). Hotel was beautiful, staff super kind and we got so many free things (happy hour, 3 free drinks a day to take with you, gift at checkout). Breakfast is amazing too, and I always make sure to stay at Booking.com 9+ rated places. And all this for a very affordable price. If you are staying in Florence, you'd be crazy not to stay here if you happen to be able to book it. 10 out of 10.

Loved it all.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here (3 years ago) it’s a fantastic hotel with amazing rooms, off street parking and awesome staff. They serve a free happy hour in the garden at 6:30pm which is very enjoyable. Not sure we will be back again but would definitely stay here if we did.

Everything, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Access to tea and coffee as well as filtered water was brilliant as we had 35 Deg C during our stay. The room was comfortable and breakfast was varied and enjoyable. The lady who made breakfast made the experience even better with her enthusiasm to help.

The hotel felt homey and the staff was wonderful. The building was beautiful and had a pleasant garden area. We loved the happy hour and sustainability focus. The room was huge when compared to other hotels. The breakfast was also good and it had exceptional value for money. Even though the location wasn’t in the city centre, it was still great and it wasn’t very far from the centre.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The decor was beautiful with lots of quirky features. Lots of lovely extra touches including happy hour that enabled you to chat to fellow guests. Location is spot on being only a 20 mins walk alongside the river directly into the old town. This hotel stood out on a holiday full of exceptional experiences. We would highly recommend hotel David.

Everything was GREAT!

Staff exceptional, great breakfast, social hour at nite, large room with great shower. Having breakfast on the veranda on a beautiful morning. Could have coffee and free softdrinks 24/7 and had a water dispenser to refill plastic water bottles. Appreciated the recycling and environmental consciousness! In a 10 point rating we would give hotel a 15+!
