Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

It’s loud when some other residents are coming back to their apartment during the night. No proper insulation for the doors to counter that.
Location was good, in 10 min in the City Center on foot and near all good restaurants

Wi fi wasnt reaching my room, i asked if the internet was working and the host said to me yes its working everywhere perfectly whic was not true. But exept that other things where good
Nice place with good location. Clean and cosy. Coffee free and bottle of water waiting for guest upon their arrival.

the lack of charm (call me old fashioned) and no one to welcome you, despite the nice messages from the host before and after my stay
Very clean room, foreseen of anything you might need. Located 3 min walk from the center of Cagliari and 20 min walk from the train and bus station (or 3 min from the bus that will take you there) I stayed for 3 nights and the room was cleaned after 2 nights.

It’s in the first floor so you hear everything that is happening outside. You need to ask the host to put the AC down to get it really cold.
Outside the center. Bed was comfortable and the room has great blackout shades for the night time.

Everything you need for an overnight city stop. Bed very comfortable. Room quiet and dark at night helping get good nights sleep. All facilities, including bathroom appeared new and spotlessly clean. Car park a 5 minute walk away, free overnight, but pay at peak times in day.

Check-out at 10am is a bit to early, but it looks like it is a specific “norm” in Italy

Room facing the street, can get a bit noisy from the traffic.

They welcomed me with cookies and coffees. The apartment itself, its interiors, furniture etc. all are very new, modern, and chic especially for its price. Location is great: not directly in the middle of the noisy old town center so that I could sleep so good but also it is only 5-6 minutes walk away from the center. Highly recommended.

Prompt responses to my messages from Daniela and kind help with anything I asked. Daniela also arranged our transfers with ease. The rooms are immaculately clean, well designed with good fittings and beautiful crisp linen and fresh white towels. Very impressed with all!

Our room was on the ground floor, the window opened directly on to the main street so could be noisy.

Room had a strong perfume/cleaning smell from the wardrobe and the bed felt a little damp, room was dark but only 1 small window.
Great location, and small balcony ti hang beach towels and swimwear. Easy to park and owner was very helpful and communicated clearly, also got us an umbrella for the beach.

Entrance (closes?)
Located close to a bus stop of the bus to the airport as I wanted, and also close to the beach, clean room and nice bed, air conditioner ok, helpful and welcoming host !
