How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean, accommodating , great staff and a great value
The staff was wonderful and welcoming . Everything about our stay was perfect. This is the only place I would chose for our travels there .

Nothing, it was great
Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The aircon and balcony was a huge bonus. Excellent value for money given the Size of the apartment and time of year

While the first impressions of the locale might feel a little unsafe, I was quickly converted to love this little suburban, family friendly town of Montevarchi. Hotel rooms were reassuringly safe and secure. Staff were subtly attentive and gave the feel of your friendly neighbor. The deluxe suite is in the annex building, looks like any newly renovated service apartment. This unassuming location is easily accessible by car, ample free parking, supermarket close by and the very lovely Largo Galeffi restaurant where we had dinner twice during our 3 nights stay is a must!

The only slight minor issue we had was that the brand new kitchen in the apartment wasn't very well equipped - we boiled water for drinks in a pan, and there was nothing to facilitate washing up, or wiping surfaces, but this would be a very easy fix !
The staff were very friendly & helpful despite us both not speaking Italian! The apartment we had was spacious & very clean. Location great for driving to Chianti & train to Arezzo and Florence. Montevarchi itself had some great places to eat & nice friendly bars too, without being a busy tourist centre.

Parking was restricted height which we didn't attempt with a roofbox, although there is plenty of free street parking close to the hotel.
We booked interconnecting double rooms which were spacious and clean. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Montevarchi was a pleasant town as a stopover on the way to Sicily - we ate dinner in Via Roma 7 in town which was a lovely experience. Not far off the motorway so useful when travelling.

The only thing that I didn't like was the hairdryer , i had a wedding and had to fix my hair and the hairdryer was not good at all, but if it was not for that; this would have been the perfect stay!
The air conditioning and the shower were the best one we had since milan, florence and Tuscany! Make sure to eat in the city, the restaurants are GREAT!

The breakfast was not spectacular,
We stayed for one night in the charming town of Montevarchi during our journey to Sicily. The room provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience, with its cleanliness and fantastic beds. Although the breakfast was not spectacular, it was still decent enough to fulfill our needs. If you are looking for a comfortable stopover in Montevarchi, this hotel is worth considering.

Toilet was way close to shower. Tall persons could never sit properly.
Found parking on street right on side hotel for free and avoided 10€/ day fee. Staff courteous, breakfast ample .10 min walking distance to town.

Toilet is a bit small.
Hotel is in a quiet residential area. Rooms are great value for money and really comfortable. There are some good restaurants in that areas too.

Tiny room. They didn’t have a close iron in the room. There is one shared iron in the gym. The iron had black residue that got on my clothes :(. The reception seemed annoyed I asked to use the iron twice.

Lack off a chest of drawers. Tea and coffee facilities, safe, slippers, and city view were all missing from the description of the room, they only provided plastic cups which was only suitable for cold water. When challenged at reception you were told you could have tea and coffee in reception only which was complimentary, however we were charged for ours.
Location as it was quite close to the train station, and supermarkets.
