Nothing everything was perfect.

The Dimora Contarini Charm Apartment was one of our favorite places to stay at during our time spent in Italy. Alessandro the host, met us at the port to help guide us on where to go for the first time. He helped with our luggage, made sure that we had everything we needed, and checked in with us during our trip. As requested, he gave us some transportation choices for our departure to the airport too and made sure everything was working out okay with what we chose. He even helped with some advice on restaurants so we could experience authentic Italian cuisine. His suggestions were amazing and for places we would of never found on our own. Even my child wanted to return to the first restaurant we ate at. The location of the place was amazing as it was right on the Grand Canal in what used to be a palace. In my opinion, the architecture of the palace walking in to get to the room was amazing to see each day. The room itself was spacious, very clean, and up to date with everything you needed. The kitchen was filled with everything we needed to make our stay special. The place, had a dishwasher, oven, stove, a full size refrigerator, washing machine and all the extras to go with. Everything is as pictured in the listing and the place was equipped with everything a guest needs to have a great time in Venice. We are hoping to get to return here once again in the future.

Location on the Grand Canal right by the Accademia bridge and lots of restaurants. Watching the boats go by was so much fun. Alessandro was wonderful, very responsive, and a very nice man.

Nothing could be better.

Alessandro, our fantastic host, arranged our water taxi to the apartmenmt and met us at the apartment and give us a quick tour of the surrounding neighbourhood and, because we arrived quite late, he arranged a booking at a nearby restaurant which was excellent. He was always available to answer any questions we had and gave us numerous recommendations and suggestions for our stay in Venice. The location of the apartment on the Grand Canal and the apartment located in the White Palace was stunning! The photos on the listing don't really show what an amazing place it is. When we go back to Venice, we will definitely be staying here again.

Absolutely nothng

The locaiton is right on the Grand Canal, uoi look right out the windows at all of the boats passing by. Allessandro is an excellent host, he was very helpful in answering questions about restaurants, ferry and anything else we asked him. The rooms are ideally set up, the kitchen is fully furnished. I would say it was the best place we have ever booked and Allessandro was obviously the best host.

Absolutely outstanding. Wonderful quiet place on grand canal and 1/2 block academia bridge. Alessandro was a magnifiicant host and helped me every step of the way. Wish I could duplicate this experience in every city. Nice to be able to do laundry in washer dryer. Truly A plus

Venice is an amazing place and staying at the Dimora Contarini apartment made the experience even more magical. The location is perfect and within walking distance to all main touristic spots and there is also a water bus stop right next to in. it is fully equipped with everything you need. Alessandro is an amazing host, always available to help providing advice on restaurants, local area and transportation to/from the apartment. we had to leave super early and Alessandro managed to book us a water taxi and provided us with info on the best options to travel back to the airport. if you can, suggest you arrive by water taxi, where you get to the apartment via the palace pontoon - Alexandro was there waiting for us. We would love to come back.

My only complaint was Alessandro told us it would be hard to find somewhere for dinner so he offered to make reservations for us, and the place he suggested was overpriced and not great, plus we walked past tons of restaurants with lots of empty tables on our way there. So that was bad advice we shouldn’t have followed.

Fantastic location. Very comfortable apartment. Alessandro was extremely helpful in giving us options how to get to and from the apartment and showed us how to use everything. He arranged a boat taxi for us back to the airport which was a splurge but great.

The host was very gracious. Very available to help us if needed. The apartment itself is gorgeous, located directly on the grand canal, near accademia. It was a wonderful spot to stay during our time in Venice.

This place exceeded our expectations! First, its location is unbeatable—right on the canal. You take a water taxi to get to the palace, the stunning view right from the window and everything is within walking distance. Second, the host was incredibly gracious, offering recommendations for local restaurants (the two of his recommendations were superb!), checking in to see if we needed anything, and making sure we felt at home. The apartment itself is spacious, full of historical charm (16th century), and even comes with a washer-dryer combo as a bonus. We feel so lucky to have stayed here!!

It was perfect ! Everything immaculate , so many extras left by the host Alessandro , beautiful bed linen and huge towels - fabulous superking extremely comfortable bed, masses of storage , superb shower room , excellent power shower , everything you needed in the kitchen - everything ! Stunning views from the sitting room right onto the canal . Location perfect - Alessandro arranged everything for us , taxi at airport and water taxi right to the door - and back again 👍🏻👍🏻 recommend a lovely restaurant for our first night - I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough . If you are lucky enough to find it available DO NOT hesitate to book it ! Thank-you Alessandro for making our first experience of beautiful Venice so memorable 🤗🤗

This was the best place we could have stayed in while in Venice! Staying at this beautiful apartment truly elevated our experience in the city and made for an unforgettable trip. The apartment is a blend of antique Venetian style with a modern kitchen and bathroom. It was perfect for our family of 4, the beds were super comfortable and the place was spotless. Everything was fully equipped and our host, Alessandro, even left us some delicious goodies for our stay. Alessandro was the best host we could ask for! He was very attentive and communicative from the start. He met us at the waterbus station when we arrived and gave us a very detailed tour of the surrounding neighborhood and the apartment itself. The apartment is located right on the Grand Canal, so its in a central and safe area and its super easy to get to the main sites on foot. Not only that, but he also gave us the best restaurant recommendations and even made a reservation for us to catch a watertaxi upon our departure (which picked us up right on the apartment’s dock)! He was extremely kind and really made our stay at his place a dream. We won’t hesitate to come back to Alessandro’s place on our next trip to Venice!

The apartment is in a convenient location by Academia bridge, with views on of Grand Canal traffic and boat access. Spotless clean place recently renovated in modern functional style. This is complemented by carefully selected furniture pieces resembling the artistic traditions of Venice. The exceptional assistance received from the owner went beyond our expectations considering our short stay.

Nothing, perhaps with some families using both rooms, bathroom was through the bedroom. Didn’t bother us though.

Great host, great location, apartment was equipped very well, it was clean and spacious. Alessandro was very helpful host, recommended places to eat, shops, local transport etc.
