Our stay was excellent, the space was spacious enough and very clean. Cold beverages, snacks and coffee were waiting in the room and put at our service. The room had an air conditioner, which was great in the hot weather. The street is quiet at night and not very trafficked in the morning. There is a parking space in a closed parking lot, which is a big plus for those who arrive here by car. It was close to the city center and Sassi neighborhoods. Ms Nunzia was extremely kind, giving us lots of information about the city, the events going on and good places to eat. We were very happy that we chose this place for our accommodation in Matera.

We have stayed during our travels around Italy in several B&B's... breakfast options have been very good. Sadly here you get a voucher to have breakfast at a cake shop. The breakfast consisted of one small coffee and one small croissant handed to you with a napkin not even a plate. The next morning we didn't even bother to return and be insulted again, so we walked a couple of minutes up the road and paid for our own breakfast.

We choose this place because we had a car and it offered a dedicated free secure parking space, making it stress free. The place is one big spacious room with a good size bathroom. 12 minutes walk into the main square so very convenient.

I should have stayed longer!

I very much enjoyed staying at Dimora dell'Annunziata in Matera. The location is a comfortable walking distance from the Centro Storico and Sassi areas. The parking was very close in a gated parking lot. The room was quite nice and quiet and had everything I needed. Nunzia was very attentive to any needs, a pleasure to meet and very knowledgeable about Matera. The one restaurant recommendation that I foillowed was excellent. Grazie mille Nunzia!

Very clean. Rather quiet. Located in a local neighbourhood - no tourists around. Typical Italien breakfast in a close-by bar with croissant and coffee. 15 min walking to the centre / Sassi - that's a minimum I want to do every day, and on the way you can see local life. I enjoyed that part every morning and evening. The owner was very kind and very helpful. The room has no real window of which you can look out. Light comes in from the street through the frosted glas door and one/two small sort of roof-windows. It is really cave-like, and you get a glimps of the living in the caves of Sassi. The owner could tell you more - if you ask.

The owner was very kind, showed us the local attractions and prepared snacks/drinks for us. Room was very clean and heating worked well. The bed was comfy and I liked the firm mattress. Owner very kind prepared umbrella and it was very useful because it had been raining all day during our trip. Thank you for the kindness.

Nothing really.

Sometimes you feel there's nothing that can be improved and this is the case here. The commendable owner has shown so much care for the visitors, even a couple of umbrellas at the entrance. The apartment is extremely clean (even under the bed where I had dropped a pair of glasses) and has the highest wifi speed I've even encountered - 850 Mbps (the no 1 so far was in India, 550 Mbps), There is a gated garage for free some 30m away from the apartment. What more can one want! We recommend bar Valentino for breakfast (included).

Breakfast was only fair. It was a choice of coffee and pastry, both of which were quite good, however.

The room is very comfortable and a mini fridge had beverages gratis. The parking was 100 feet of way, secure and free. The owner was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions.

This place was fantastic and so was Nunzia. The room had everything that we needed and had parking which was great as we had a car. It was a short walk to town.

The host was exceptional. She welcomed us pretty late at nite to give us the keys, when we arrived. She cleaned up the room after 2 days and asked us if we wanted to have the reimbursement for the breakfast we could not take since we were leaving too early. Very nice, to be recommend. The only hack in the room is that there no much natural light, but for the rest top.

No negatives!

A very well presented apartment that seemed to be very new and or very recently renovated to a very high standard. it was very comfortable snd user-friendly. It was probably the cleanest apartment that we will ever stay in: it was evident that the owner was very focused on this aspect! There was a coffee maker and a fridge. Breakfast was a simple but pleasant affair at a nearby cafe. There were shops, including a supermarket within a 5 minute walk. The owner was really nice - friendly snd very helpful. She communicated very well both before arrival and during our stay - this, amongst other things, made both arrival and departure into efficient and pleasant experiences. The heating was set to a generous temperature - which can’t be said of some of the places we have stayed recently. There is free, gated parking included no more than 20 metres from the front door. This is useful, as finding parking in Italian cities is not always very easy. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from Matera’s vast and impressive Old Town. I would stay here again if I were in the area and would recommend it without hesitation to family snd friends. For lunch, we were impressed by the quality and value of Da Nonna Rosa on Via Lucana, just below Castle Park.

Beautiful and clean apartment. Well equipped, coffee maker, fridge, nice bathroom. Great communication with the owner. Warm welcome, she recommended us interesting places in Matera. During our stay, she made sure we didn't miss anything. Italian breakfast is in the bistro nearby - Bar Nazionale F.lli Taratufolo. A very pleasant stay. Matera is a beautiful city.

I often find accommodation without a dedicated reception to be problematic. No problem checking in, both the host and myself were on time, but on my day of departure I left quite early and had nowhere to safely leave the key.
