How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A bit noisy.
The location is just amazing you are well connected and can walk literally to everywhere and that was super convenient, unfortunately it was a bit noisy but not in an uncomfortable way that you can’t stand it, it was really clean and cozy. Overall I would definitely recommend.

It was perfect. From the contact before our stay to the welcome and attention to detail. My kids and I loved our stay . I am a runner and loved my morning runs. Right by the property was the nicest and safest running route!!

The property was true to label as advertised. Extremely clean and well appointed. The location was excellent close to the action but a little bit of distance to avoid the chaos of Rome in Summer. Piero and staff were amazing - so eager to assist with tips and directions - made our stay so much better. Thank you

The mattress was very firm but I guess that’s a preference thing.
The location is fantastic, Rome is all about sightseeing and the location makes it perfect for getting to the sights you come to see. The staff were amazing, helped us out on a few things. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the major attractions in Rome. A special thank you to Pierre, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available when we needed something. I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful room in the heart of Rome. The space was clean, stylish, and very comfortable exactly as shown in the pictures. The location is perfect, just a short walk from major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The host mr. Piero was very kind with me! I absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!

The location is simply very good for walking tours around the city centre. Rooms are big for families and bathtoom is quite nice. The staff is amazing and very friendly. Always trying to help and guide. They organized a transfer to airport which was quite useful, especially with young kid. 100% recommended!

Coffee machine in the lobby not in the room. Bed next to bathroom door/toilet. The shower overflowed water (poor design) and the first night, a plumber came but the second night we got back to a terrible sewer smell. They offered to fix it..... the next morning so we slept next to this pungent raw sewer smell with no offer to switch rooms. It was so awful!
Staff were kind. Minimalist hotel. Good location and cute neighbourhood. Bedding and linens. Large bathroom counterspace. Generally clean.
