Gaia was absolutely fabulous. She made us so welcome, and ensured we had everything we needed to get around Amalfi. She provided bus tickets for us to get into the center, and made it very clear how to get around. The restaurant she recommended, Taverna di Masaniello, was fabulous. Beautiful breakfast on the balcony in the morning. Overall a wonderful stay with a brilliant host. Thank you!

Probably the only thing that it’s not so great is the stairs you have to go through to get to the place, even after the bus. For us it was ok but is still a bit challenging with the bags, although it is through a path full with trees and shade so that makes it a bit more bearable.

Gaia was wonderful. She waited us at the bottom of the stairs and took us to the property. She also explained us very carefully and was very kind to send us recommendations on where to eat, how to buy the tickets for the transport and also where to store our luggage after our check out near the beach down in Amalfi. She made our stay feel like if we were at home. The view from the balcony was amazing and at night the silent was perfect for sleep. We had our own keys to the bathroom which was only for us and we could use the balcony as well. We had breakfast there looking at the see and it was perfect. The breakfast was very nice too and very complete. There’s a bust that takes 20 minutes to get from and to Amalfi and the views in the way are great too. It goes every 30 minutes only if you take the last one (23:00) which we did, it could get very crowded as everyone want to get in. Other than that the transport was great.

The accommodation is well located; it’s away from the hustle and bustle, so you can enjoy peace and quiet. Amalfi is 20 minutes away by bus, and the bus comes at convenient times. However, the last one back is already at 11 PM. From Amalfi, we did day trips to Capri and Positano, so everything is easy to reach. The view is simply breathtaking — overlooking a beautiful hillside and the sea. Breakfast with that amazing view was delicious. Gaia is truly incredibly friendly and attentive. Communication is quick via WhatsApp. She helped us find free parking right by the accommodation, organized bus tickets, provided a bus schedule, and gave us great recommendations. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect – close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was hearty and delicious, with plenty of options to start the day off right. And the view… absolutely stunning! I could’ve spent hours just admiring it. Highly recommend!

The bathroom is separate from the room There is no tv There is no real parking, there are only the normal street spaces There is a giant list of “you pay if you break - 70€ for the mosquito net , 350€ for the keys in case of loss … There is also a large list of rules including forbidding to bring food to the room …

Domus Gaia is a stunning b&b with the most incredible view from the private balcony. The accommodation itself is clean and tidy and in a great location, and the host Gaia goes out of her way to make sure you have the best time possible. She is kind and attentive and makes you feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and in my opinion, there is no better way to start the day than eating it whilst looking out at the incredible scenery in front of you. If you are planning a trip to the amalfi coast and would like to avoid the hustle and bustle of Amalfi then Domus Gaia is a great choice! I will definitely be coming back.

There are some stairs from the parking to the room, and we counted 270 of them while climbing up to the village center for dinner (but the Rispoli restaurant was simlpy great). The bathroom is not in the room, yet it is for the room use only and not really an issue

There is no anything what can disappoint you at this place. Everything is nice and good. Just should be ready for a long walk up and down the stairs or riding the bus ( which is not really fast because of the road around the mountains).

The place is really nice with a great view. The owner Gaia is just amazing. Delicious breakfast. Gaia is always ready to help etc. Our staying at this place was just amazing. You can use the bus from Amalfi to Pogerola or it is always available to go down the stairs and enjoy the views of the Amalfi.

The one downside is that it takes some doing to get to the neighboring village of Pogerelo. You take a bus from the center of Amalfi, which takes about 25 minutes. Not so bad. But finding the bus and buying a bus ticket is not easy. Amalfi makes it really challenging for tourists to use the bus system (e.g. the one person who sells tickets wears a green vest and is supposed to be sitting somewhere in the large gazebo area with about a hundred tourists milling about, but he may or may not be around). And then, when we were leaving the village of Pogerelo on the last day, the bus driver simply blew by our bus stop where we and 6 other American women were waiting. Fortunately, the bus stopped 50 meters down the road to pick up a local resident and the American women went running down the street and persuaded the driver to wait for us. In short, the Amalfi region has some serious transit issues to work out, which unavoidably hurts otherwise fine housing businesses like Domus Gaia.

Best feature was our host, Gaia, who went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful. And served excellent, full breakfasts on our terrace. Our room had a breathtaking view of the sea from way up high. Quiet and peaceful place to stay on the Amalfi coast.

Very nice, clean room, with breathtaking view. Quiet area, out of the crowd, but it is easy to get to Amalfi with the bus. Our host, Gaia, was very kind and helpful. We had dinner in the local restaurant Aquolina, and the food was excellent. Beautiful area, we had a great time.

Wonderful greeting from Gaia. With Limoncello spritz! Fantastic view from the balcony. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Enjoyed our 1 night stay and had a very lovely evening at Gerry's Bar. A massive breakfast platter, wonderful!

It was perfect

The room was extremely clean with a private , extremely clean bathroom (located right outside the room,but that was not a problem). We had the balcony with the absolutley most incredible view! It was very easy to come up with the bus and we were walking distance to some good restaurants. Miss Gaia was really a wonderful host. Very prompt in answering questions via WhatsApp. She was a lot of fun and full of detailed suggestions (we followed them all and were so happy ). The breakfasts were really incredible each morning. we stayed 3 nights and each breakfast was slightly different. It was wonderful to leave the busy town of amalfi each night and come to this paradise getaway

Nothing, everything was perfect.

This was just a perfect vacation! Not only is the place beautiful and with an incredible view, but also is Gaia such a lovely host! We had so nice chats, she helped us with our plans, was flexible with breakfast-times and we felt more like visiting a friend! We recommend going with bus directly from Naples Airport to Pogerola in 2 hours.

No lifts and had to drag our heavy luggages for quite a distance and up and down stairs. No car parking. Car had to be sent to parking facility 2km away for €25 per day and couldnt be used during our stay.

The room is within a shared apartment so the toilet is across the hallway, however this was known at the time of booking and wasn’t an issue.

The apartment was brilliant, great location as it is a 20 minute bus ride to Amalfi town and nice to come back to Pogerola in the evenings and enjoy dinner and cocktails in Pogerola square. Gaia is a great host, she is always contactable and very knowledgable about the area - she gives great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to eat at, and makes an incredible breakfast!

Gaia made us a special stay with the neat and clean room and a terrific breakfast on the balcony with sea view in the morning. We got plenty information about restaurants and sights. It was a relaxing time because everything was cared for.

I only wish bathroom was in room instead of being outside of room. But this proved not to be a major problem as we adjusted and reminded ourselves we don’t have the luxury of having a bathroom in our bedroom at home.

Gaia, the host is earthy, professional, knowledgeable and so nice. The terrace view from room and breakfast each morning is spectacular.
