Reviews of don guglielmo panoramic hotel & spa 4 stars

Did not like the fact we arrived at noon and the hotel was empty but front desk clerk said rooms were not ready!!! Not sure what was not ready when the hotel was near empty. Any way we were able to keep our luggage at the hotel and returned later that evening 8pm to check in. Would have been nice to have our room or least 1 of the two rooms to freshn up

Good size rooms and great showers. Friendly staff and great location with beautiful views.

Rooms smells like somebody been smoking inside.

The staff was not very helpful or friendly. If we tried to speak with them they acted like it was a huge burden. The staff was the worst part of our stay, specifically the man who worked nights

I appreciated the hotel's location—not too far from the historic center, yet quiet, with a beautiful panoramic view and parking available. The staff at the restaurant was very helpful.

I did not appreciate the breakfast, which was too poor for a 4-star hotel. There was no real bread (only pre-packaged slices) and no fresh fruit, and the quality of the pastries was low.

It is far away from city center.

It was good to have someone in reception waiting when I finally arrived. It was even better that they spoke English and promptly arranged some food & beverages, which were delicious.The view was also good in the morning.

The signage and the road to Hotel need to be upgraded. The heating in the room was not on and it was very cold. The sheets & pillow cases were old and stained and the only blanket was in the wardrobe which in Italy in mid November when the temperature drops to low degrees makes no sense. For the price charged I expected better also information in the room in English (supposed to be tourist hotel) would be of value.

Location and friendly people

Very nice view, good restaurant on location, staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The room was smaller than expected for 4; but it was okay for one night and the bathroom was very nice and large.

The staff is professional and great! The hotel and the views amazing. They welcome us and our pets like old friends. The only thing that need to be addressed is that the room for 3 adults cannot provide a sofa thats really uncomfortable for a grownup. Anyway i hope we can return soon because the hotel is great!

The sofa for the third pax was not comfortable

Modern, big rooms, quiet, comfortable bed.

Receptionist : either disliked us, people who arrive on bicycles or working in hospitality. We're getting bye with our Italian, hand gestures and a few smiles, not with this guy. Then wanted 10 euro to put our bikes in huge empty garage. His colleague in morning was more approachable.

The place was very clean but a little outdated

In the details of the room, it was with balcony and view. Instead we didn’t have balcony and didn’t have a view. The person at front desk said it was a mistake in the description.

The views are stunning. Price is good.

A bit farther from city center than I thought (not in distance but certainly in elevation. It isn't a major tourist destination so if you aren't capable of speaking Italian you might have difficulty and access is restricted after a certain hour so you have to buzz security to let you in.
