Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAll was good.
Lucia was a very attentive host, keen to help us make the most of our stay. The B&B is a short walk from the railway stations and centre of Naples, ideal for visiting the city and area. The streets nearby are a but messy, but do not be put off by them, it is a good place to stay.

SlovakiaThe accomodation has nice view and pretty design. It was cleaned on a daily basis. The owner, Lucia, did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She was available on Whatsapp and always assisted. We received lots of information regarding the nearby places and recommendations as well. As of the location, easily accessible from the Garibaldi Central Station, where the Alibus drops you off from the airport. Bigger supermarket can be found in 3min walk, restaurants are also available. Thank you!

EstoniaThe air conditioning in the room was somewhat weak and took a long time to cool the room effectively.
We appreciated having our own private entrance to the room. The ability to park on the premises was also a plus. Breakfast at the corner cafe was a typical Italian experience—croissant and coffee. Lucia was wonderful!

United KingdomThe property was espectacular. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast at a small cafeteria nearby.
The place was very well located nearby a supermarket, pizzerias and the central train station. Moreover, the room was very clean and the mattress was very comfortable. Also got a nice view of the Vesubio.

United KingdomDifficult to find any negatives. Apartment was in a good area for walking to the old part of the city but did suffer from a litter problem, although the area felt safe (not like some parts of Naples).
Host was amazing. Very helpful with details of pizzerias, bars, places of interest, public transport. Breakfast was in a bar just along the road, lovely croisssants and coffee. Apartment was on the 9th floor but with the lift it was no problem. Bathroom was amazing with fantastic shower. Unlimited coffee from the machine in the hallway and a kettle in the room with teabags provided. Good wi-fi. Air conditioning includied in the price. Beautiful view of Vesuvius from our room. Lucia was always available via Whatsapp for any queries and very helpful in arranging transport to the airport. Apartment was about 25 minutes walk from the ferry port if you wanted to go to one of the nearby islands and about 15 minutes walk from the main station for the train to Sorrento.

United StatesThe room has an outside door and an inside one. For the inside one, you don’t have any options to lock it which seems to me strange and unsafe. Also the location of the apartment is terrible, very unsafe place. Even in the middle of the day.
Donna Lucia is great. Very nice and helpful. And also the room is nice, decorated in a very creative way.

United KingdomThe WiFi could have been better, with some spots of bad connection in the room.
Lucia was a fantastic host, giving us lots of information about the area and recommendations of things to do and places to eat. She was always very responsive over WhatsApp whenever we had any questions while put and about. The room was very comfy and clean with good facilities, and a lovely view of Vesuvius. The location is very convenient, with the metro and train station just a 10 minute walk away, with quick links into town, to Pompeii, and bus link to the airport. Over all a very good stay!

United KingdomWould just recommend to bring your own towel. There were plenty there and they were clean but fluff comes off. We had no issues but the area doesn't seem like super safe, but I didn't see another area that would have seemed safer
Lucia was amazing. Really great host, really cares and was very accommodating. We arrived 2 hours early and she let us in all the same. We loved that the room was private, as it had it's own bathroom and entrance from the lift. It was just like the pictures, bright, colourful and clean. It had all the facilities we needed (table, chairs, fridge, tea station, hairdryer etc). It also had a balcony with a clothes drying rack which was useful. You can tell love and thought has been put into the place. Also it has a big view. Finally, we booked this b&b without much research but it worked in our favour as Garibaldi train and metro station is a short walk away. It means we had really access to buses, trains and metros to everywhere and was relief when we left early in the morning or came back late at night.

United KingdomArea would might be a little bit intimidating to walk to on your own from the city, but we we never had any issues with anything/one. The bed was comfy, but due to the material you can become quite hot if the night is warm.
Lucia was a fantastic host and gave us lots of tips and information. The room was extremely clean and had modern decor. Loved the view of vesuvius. Excellent shower with fantastic pressure. Great ameneties with kettle, tea and proper coffee machine. Good location within walking distance of train/metro and town. Simple breakfast available in cafe nearby with coupons provided. Overall great location and one of the most affordable with view of vesuvius. Lucia was a fantastic host and extremely helpful even when we didin't speak much itallian.

PolandThe area didn’t feel particularly safe, though that seems to be a broader issue in Naples rather than specific to this location. The room lacked several basic facilities that were actually shown in the photos and description—there was no coffee machine or kettle, just two plastic cups and no cutlery at all. This was frustrating, especially since we expected to prepare some simple drinks or snacks. The breakfast arrangement was also disappointing: it was just a coffee and a pastry from a nearby café. The coffee there had a very low rating, so we ended up skipping it entirely.
Our stay had some lovely moments, especially the beautiful view of the volcano from the room. The space was bright, clean, and comfortable, which made a great first impression. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive—offering plenty of helpful recommendations that enhanced our visit.

The so called breakfast was at a delabitated groatty road side cafe were stale fried pizza was served by a tired old man.We were made to pay for the coffee. The location is on the 9 th floor of a residential block of flats that is surrounded by high wire similar to a prison.

GreeceThe building is old and not in perfect condition - eg the lift is crammed and feels awkward and bumpy. I couldn't avoid it, as I have a knee injury and the rooms are on the 9th floor. The room is beautifully renovated, but construction quality is not helping. Despite the 9th floor, there was noise from the cars passing all night. I personally didn't like the bed, too soft for me (my wife liked it). The breakfast is served at a cafe near by, very little choice and quantity, and the surroundings are not nice. After the first day we bought some food and ate breakfast in the room. The location is a mixed blessing. It's convenient under some circumstances but it's not in a nice part of the city. Poor, deteriorating buildings, very dirty - filthy streets, rubbish everywhere (and Napoli has some really beautiful other places...) Finally the location has positives if you have a car. The extra charge for the parking was pricey in my view, especially given the specific parking place (20 euro/day).
The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Lucia was very helpful and provided detailed and good information, also on what we can do. The location is good under some conditions. We had a car, wanted to travel quite a lot to the south of Napoli and have easy access to the city center. The location is good for the combination and offers (at extra charge) parking in closed area.
