Perfect if you travel with a dog they accommodate with a set of water and food bowls and a bed for your dog.

Oltjiana and Federico were wonderful hosts in reception! Edna was wonderful during the breakfast time! All staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was very good and they had a large selection of items.

We loved everything about this hotel. Beautiful rooms with wonderful amenities, central location and fantastic service. I cannot emphasize how much we appreciate the staff, in the hotel, restaurant and the winery. At the azienda Agricola tassi where we had a tasting of their delicious wine. Stefanie looked after us at the tasting, we were given a very impressive tour of the production of their delicious wine and then a tasting in their elegant tasting room. She was extremely informative, experienced, and helpful. And again, the wine is fantastic. We highly recommend the restaurant at the Drogheria, we were 4 people and we loved everything dish. The pasta with tartuffo was a dream, but everything was well executed and local, and delicious. Excellent service. The breakfast which was included had some choice and highly recommend it. Everyone was helpful, with restaurant choices and every other need. And charming. Montqlcino as a town is also charming, bustling by day but quiet and peaceful at night. We absolutely loved out stay. We would like to thank everyone involved in making our visit so memorable.

Room was good for a 2 night stay. Breakfast was excellent as well as all staff. Rooms were all comfortable. The only thing missing was a comfortable gathering space to sit and visit with our group.

This view from this hotel was absolutely breathtaking - book the castle-view room and you won’t regret it!! The hospitality and room amenities were wonderful, and the included breakfast (made to order) at their restaurant was lovely - wish we would have dined there for dinner! We did the complimentary wine tour at their winery, Azienda Agricola Tassi (ask for Stephanie if you can!) which ended up being one of our favorite memories from our trip! Probably in the best location in Montalcino, and just a short drive from other must-see cities (Pienza, Montepulciano).

excellent breakfast and restaurant. excellent customer service. Room is small and there's gap with the front door. Door does not shut completely so pick up all the noise from other rooms and the hallway. Bath room is little too small and there no body lotion and not enough soap.

The toilet was difficult to flush, which caused stress at times.

The staff is so very friendly and helpful; they treated us like family. There is a parking lot directly across from the entrance of the hotel, making arrival and departure extremely convenient There is a small deck on the back side of the building where we spent a lovely evening sipping tea and finally relaxing.

It is a medieval building across the street from the fortress. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great. It was very clean and well maintained. But the best part is the feeling of staying with family in a small village. The staff is so friendly and it’s a walking distance to wine tastings, small shops, great food and sightseeing. Also wonderful location for a base to venture out with a car to more wine tasting in the land if Brunello. I would definitely stay with them again.
