Delightful hotel with the most kind and helpful staff. Breakfast overlooking the lake was a treat!

Location

I’m not sure why this is considered a 4-star hotel. The shower doesn’t function properly, the room is small, there’s noticeable noise from outside, and the room has an unpleasant odor.

Everything. But the breakfast may have been the best hotel breakfast ever. Friendly well informed staff and the best location in town.

Very friendly staff who were helpful and polite. When I tried to book a parking space, unfortunately there weren’t any available but later the hotel contacted me to confirm that, after a cancellation, they had reserved a space for me, amazing service. The hotel was very clean and the room had all the facilities we needed. Location is very convenient for a number of local restaurants. We would particularly recommend Il Vicolo as the staff were brilliant and the food was delicious!

Very authentic and tasteful interior design! And we loved the pasticceria. Very happy about our stay! Staff was very helpful and kind!

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. Will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The receptionist was very kind, and communication in English was excellent. The location couldn’t be better – just a few minutes’ walk away there is a popular café with great coffee and pastries.

The only downside was the public parking. It was quite difficult to find a spot since there was a festival of board games going on in the city, and the whole town was very lively. The parking machines didn’t work either, but luckily we discovered an app, which turned out to be very convenient to use throughout Italy.

I like the hotel for its close location to the bus station as we need to travel around. I like the lobby as it does give an old charming feel.

The hotel could not provide the room even we have arrived later than 3pm. Besides, if they could have moved our luggage from the storage room to our room, that would be good, instead of asking us to move them ourselves later at night!

The check-in counter doesn’t match the decoration. If the check-in counter can be moved to the library/lobby, it would look more grand and more expensive.

Location of was very central. Our view of mountains and the city was wonder, furnishings are nice. Bathroom was large. Reception staff was warm, friendly and helpful.

Cleaning needs to be improved. The restaurant unfortunately was not on par with great neighborhood restaurants. Would not recommend breakfast for the price either. Smaller rooms than expected.

The front desk people were very helpful. Excellent breakfast. The location is conveniently close to both the old part of town (it is within the walls of the old town) and close to the bus stop and train station.

The well kept, old world charm was wonderful. The staff could not have been more helpful. The parking garage was super close and very easy to negotiate. The hotel represents honest value, in a central location that can’t be beat.

The double bed is two twins together (very common in Italy) but would be more comfortable if it were a double or queen mattress
