Absolutely wonderful place to stay in the best location in Venice. Room was amazing, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was a highlight, the food, atmosphere and staff were perfect!

Somehow hard to find the place but once we did all went smooth. Too many forms to fill in (declarations/breakfast). The aircondintion and the fridge did not work well (but that probably does not happen alot)

Right at the center of Venice, the location was perfect! The stuff was really nice and the service was amazing. Breakfast was great and the usage of the public areas after checkout was very important for us.

The location was such a good spot. The water taxi stops right at the Ego Residence! I would stay there again without even looking anywhere else!

Somewhat difficult to find. The front desk is housed behind a glassdoor entrance labeled Silk Road. Pay close attention to your maps directions.

Location, location, location. About 100 yards from Rialto Bridge and water taxis and vaporetto stops are very close. Rooms are a mix of the old world with modern amenities. The property was clean and safe.

Being so close to Rialto bridge is a good & a bad thing. It is a tourist hub but is jam packed with too many people. Literally had to elbow my way thru the crowds. Wish this hotel was near Accademia bridge. It’s much quieter, prettier canals & bridges. Also hotel must install better trays for shampoo/soap in the shower. The one in there had a slatted base & everything kept falling.

Almost next door to Rialto bridge. The vaperatto is opp the hotel so are water taxis. The hotel staff is very helpful & willing to assist in everything. Breakfast was not included in our room rate but we chose to have it ala carte & it was very good. Room was nicely decorated with counters for keeping your things. There was a big cupboard too to keep your clothes. Hotel also arranged for assisted water taxi from airport. Although it was a splurge it helped in us not having to find a ride on our own. The bed was comfortable & the bed pillows were great. Note: altho there is a lift, you have to go up 10 steps to reach the elevator. Checking in, we were helped with our bags by the staff. But checking out, we had to do it on our own & it was difficult for us older folks!

We were on an in between floor so you could not get the elevator to your exact level, however the front desk handled getting the luggage to the room so it was not an issue.

The breakfast was very nice. You order the night before so that they are prepared for you when you come to breakfast. There was a nice selection and service was great,

Well— there were A LOT of stairs to navigate. Partially our fault that we had big heavy suitcases as our next stop was a 10 day cruise— but with normal size luggage we would have been able to navigate the stair’s easily.

The location was amazing. The staff at the desk were extremely helpful with directions— making dinner reservations at their favorite places, transportation help— I LOVED this place .

We didn’t know that a “choose your own” breakfast was available. I suggest that Booking.com add that to the list of amenities.

We asked the hotel to arrange a water taxi to airport on 4/24 that could be paid by card. Taxi arrived as requested but when paying driver said his card machine did not work. We had to use Euronet atm inside airport thus receiving a terrible exchange rate. Then when giving him the euros he said he did not have change. This also took an additional 20 min of out time before boarding airplane. Very displeased with driver & would not recommend him. We know this is not a reflection of hotel but hotel staff should be aware & not use him again.

The hotel was clean and was in an excellent position on the grand canal with everything in walking distance. The hotel staff were so helpful and let us store our luggage until we could check in as we arrived early. They also ordered our water taxi to the airport which was seamless and stress free.

A silly issue was made over some breakfast choices that added up to less than €10 for extras like a tea bag, which seemed petty and unnecessary.

Location was brilliant. The low ceilings made it cosy and the room was lovely and warm. Also very quiet with a view out onto the canal with passing gondola’s. Very nice!
