The B&B was really nice It was comfortable and secure. I have nothing negative to say. Maria and Andrea were angles, they were rally nice and friendly. Thank you so much for everything you did. And the breakfast was nice and I really like the cappuccino every morning. If I went back to Ortigia, I would stay there again.

The main entrance to the building was a bit scary at first. But the apartment itself was quite new. The only thing was there was a smell in the bathroom. I assume it is because of the old infrastructure in the town.

It is in the middle of Ortigia which we liked a lot. The owner suggested a free parking place and they got us and also brought back to the same location with their car which was very appreciated. The rooms are quite big and clean. Good variety in breakfast.

Great location — central, right in the heart of the historic center, and very clean. Maria and Andrea were kind, super helpful, and always quick to respond. They also helped us with parking nearby. The noises from breakfast could be an issue for anyone who is a late sleeper.

Ortigia is a delightful city, and it was so nice to be able to stay in the middle of the action. The room was beautiful with thoughtful touches like a water and cookie tray to welcome us and outlets all of the beds. The hosts were very sweet and personable. Breakfast is varied and delicious.

The room is well appointed with outlets and space for luggage. Spotless and fresh. We were greeted with a welcome tray including local pistachio liquor. The breakfast has excellent variety and protein options. Andrea and Maria were extremely friendly and helpful with meeting us with the car where we parked in Syracuse (we chose the free option) and driving us back there the last day. This was an add on for sure. The location made it easy to come back mid day to rest before our evening activities. Quaint balcony.

I liked everything! Location is great, in the center of Ortigia, restaurants in few minutes walking distance., attractions in few minutes walking. Few minutes to the closest access to the sea”.( Ortigia is on a rock ) Room was clean, with some artistic touch from Andrea, the owner. big shower in the bathroom. Fantastic breakfast, lots of good things in high abundance. I really enjoyed the pastry and fresh ricotta. Another great plus of this place is the friendliness of the owners, Andrea and Maria Giovanna. Lots of recommendation on things to do, places to eat. They booked parking for me. Andrea was waiting for us in the street for the check in. Good morning talks! Moreover, I got a non urgent health issue and need a ENT specialist. Andrea went ahead and called several doctors and was able to book a visit for me the same day. I cannot ask more, They treat us line family!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Ortigia! The family who owns it is absolutely delightful—so welcoming and kind. Maria is truly fantastic—she helped us with parking and answered all our questions. The room was spotless and comfortable, the location perfect for exploring Ortigia on foot, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Every morning felt special with fresh, local treats. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, authentic Sicilian experience.

Elsa d'Ortigia is a beautiful B&B, very comfortable & artistically decorated, in the heart of the Old Town. Hosts Maria & Andrea are very nice & helpful. They even picked us up on arrival at the station & drove us back to the station after our stay. Highly recommended!

The rooms are all on the second floor of a very old building with no lift. Maria and Andrea helped us with our bags but it’s worth noting for anyone with mobility issues.

Fantastic B&B in beautiful Ortigia. Maria and Andrea were fantastic hosts, picking us up from the station at 11pm and taking us back when it was time to leave. Maria’s breakfasts were fantastic with lovely home made cakes! Spacious room, very comfy bed, good A/C and excellent shower. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Great location with wonderfully hospitable and kind hosts. Maria and Andrea are the ultimate duo — so genuine and made our stay so carefree. Maria prepares a great spread for breakfast and Andrea was so kind to lead us from the hotel to parking and back. Wish all hosts were like this! If/ when we ever return, we will definitely rebook with Team Elsa!

Excellent location in the centre of the old town of Ortigia with easy access to nice local restaurants, bars and shops. Lovely small and friendly boutique facility. Breakfast was easy and convenient and allowed you to interact with other guests, which was really enjoyable. Maria was so helpful and very keen to assist.

Maria and Andrea were great hosts. Our room was comfortable, beautiful, clean and spacious for two adults and one child. Maria helped us with parking and transportation as we arrived by car and left it outside the old town. She also served us a lovely breakfast in the shared kitchen every morning, which proved a great, social start to the day. We found everything in walking distance, including the beach, and the best dinner we had in Sicily was at the restaurant next door. We loved Ortigia and highly recommend this accommodation or the new sister branch, Elsa d'Ortigia I Tre Archi.

- the walls are paper thin, which isn’t the owners fault, but you can just heard everything - i would also love to see some more healthy options at the breakfast like some vegetables for example, not just sweet options, but on the other this is everywhere the same in italy and those sweets were delicious haha

we loved the location and the breakfast, the owners were really kind, they picked us up at the bus station, at the room there was prepared a small limoncello and sweets, we had a good time :)
