How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The stove had very little power as it almost couldn't bring a pot of water to boil, even with induction.
Magnificent location, close to the center and a supermarket. Very responsive host. Lots of bathroom products free to use.

Not sure how many other rooms were sharing the same bathroom as ours, but it took quite a while until it was empty at night so we could get ready for bed
The staff was very helpful for checking in, the room is exactly as advertised and has lovely AC

Room with a shared bathroom. Place was spotless. Nice kitchen with a small balcony to drink coffee on. Communication with management was easy and quick. We dropped our bags and collected keys 3 hours before official entry time. Very handy for arena (4 mins walk), shops nearby. Excellent location. Will return next season if its not booked up.

Nothing to say
The room was spacious and clean. It had a nice balcony where we had breakfast and dinner. Even though it's a 3 rooms apartment with shared bathroom, it was nice, clean, and organized. We didn't have any problem sharing the bathroom, it was always clean, same for the kitchen. The communication was always via WhatsApp, we didn't get to meet the host, but it was all good.

Very good location, only few minutes walking to the Christmas market and to the Arena. Room and bathroom have a good space. Also a good equipped shared kitchen. Monica was very supportive, and it was a complete and easy self check in and check out. You can find paid parking ( 1 euro per hours , from 8 am to 8 pm , sunday is free )in the streets near the house inside the blue stalls or there is an underground car park in the nearby Piazza Cittadella.

A cozy and spacious apartment almost in the city center. Clean, comfortable and smells delicious. Polite and wonderful hostess! 10-15 minutes walk and you are already in the center of events and in Juliet's courtyard, by the way. I liked everything very much! Thank you very much!

ES is small and beautiful hotel, with clean and comfortable room. The bedlinen was clean and fresh. The bed comfy enough. Special thanks to staff for spotless shower and fantastic room designe. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. We had the room with wide enough balcony where we had few chairs and table. At the summer time it is great place morning breckfast. The check-in and check-out were very easy. The location is excelent, 5 minut of walk to Verona Arena and 15min to get trainstation. So we didnt use public transport at all. Beside that inspide ot that fact that is city centre it is pretty quiet area. It was even better than I expected from the hotel of this price range. Im obsolutely sure u will not regret if you stay in ES. Recommend

The TV was not working properly and we had some issues with the shower (overflowing), for which we notified the host and once fixed, the room would be absolutely perfect. We want to come back and book it again.
The room was very pretty, nicely decorated, easy to find and in a very central location, very close to the arena.Our communication with the host was easy and without any issues. Definately in a perfect location to experience the city and to be close to the station too. Highly recommend.
