Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and everything exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere felt warm and relaxing, which made us feel at home right away. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food – the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The meals served at the restaurant were also outstanding, both in taste and presentation. Fruits and vegetables are very fresh from their own garden. What I appreciated the most was the genuine hospitality of the entire team. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a pleasant and memorable experience. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, quality, and excellent service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and I am already looking forward to coming back again in the near future! Thanks to King Luigi, Massimo, to all the friendly employees. And of course Cico ♥️

The place has amazing views towards positano and the bay. Its truly spectacular. It is a family run business with all its perks. You feel very welcomed there and they make you feel like you are part of the family. The food they serve is also amazing. Very traditional, home made by excellent kitchen staff. The place is nested about 10 min scooter ride away from Positano but it is a positive thing.

United StatesThe property, the incredible view, the staff and the food were top rate. But if you want the view, you have to give up on the ease of getting down into the main town and back up. It's not a matter of 100-200 steps to climb - It's an impossible walk down the winding streets in the heat of summer. It's also next to impossible to get an Uber. Your only option is to use the bus, which only comes by once an hour and is rarely on time. If you miss it, you have to wait another hour. It takes 30 min to travel by bus go the 1.5 miles into town. When in town, in the evening, there is a crowd waiting to board the bus, which is too small, and it can get heated. A police officer had to intervene on one occasion. If you want to stay up in the beauty of the cliffs, away from the crowds, and feast on amazing food, Fattoria la Tagliata is your place. Also, if you have a week in Positano, then you can take a couple of days to deal with the bus. But we only had 2 days. If you have limited time get a hotel that's closer to town and the water.
The breakfast was incredible and we also had a dinner there, which was AMAZING! The restaurant is where the property really shines. It's family run and everyone is so kind and treats you like family. People come from all over to dine at the restaurant. They have a family farm and also give cooking classes. I can't say enough good things about the people who run the restaurant/B&B.

United StatesWe were only there 1 1/2 days (2 nights) we could not get any transportation down to the town/beach area so we were stuck in our flat all day until our prepaid transportation showed up the following morning at 6am. We would have loved to see and experience Positano the one full day we had the chance to.
Beautiful views, very friendly and kind staff. BEST Italian family style homemade food so far on our vacation.

IrelandThe drive up the road was a bit scary, we had a small car so was not too bad. Bus takes you up and down the hill to positano itself right outside the property but getting around here is an experience!
The staff, the food, the views, the room, everything was perfect. If you don't manage to book a stay with them at least book a meal with them. All food comes straight from their garden, so fresh and so tasty. Papa luigi, Toni, luigi and all the people here have created something special! We will be back

AustraliaUnfortunately there were lots of ants on the terrace and so we didn’t get to use it, but it is understandable being in a more remote/farm location.
We had a wonderful time staying here. The property had an incredible view and we were welcomed like family by Luigi on our arrival! We had an incredible lunch at the restaurant and were taken care of. The cooking class was so much fun and a highlight of our trip in Italy. The property was just beautiful and it was incredible seeing all the gardens where the fresh produce was picked daily! It was such a unique experience that we wouldn’t trade for anything!

United StatesNot to be weird, but my spouse and I decided together that when we both die, we'll head specifically HERE to meet up and just be ex-pat ghosts together at this exact location forever. We loved it THAT MUCH. From THE WARMEST welcome we've ever received and being treated like beloved family members ("here is the fridge, help yourselves any time night or day!") to generations of men (mostly named Luigi!) all excited to share their traditional dishes with us to the beautiful mammas and aunties working in the immaculate kitchen, to the terrier running around the main dining area like a waggy-tailed maitre-d, to the WTF ZOO IN THE BACKYARD (is your trip to Positano complete without an ALBINO PEACOCK? No. No it isn't.) to the breathtaking views of the sea and God's Path rock formations to the ultra romantic rustic rooms carved into the mountainside with natural rock to our own private terrace to the stunning in-room bathing tub overlooking actual f*cking PARADISE? Good lord. This is my new favorite place on earth, and my new favorite people. The food is the best Italian I've had in my life. The family makes me wish they were my actual family. They even honked and waved at us in town. I can't wait to go back to Fattoria La Trattoria. In this life and any other.

AustraliaNothing!! Everything was great
We stayed here at the end of September and we LOVED it! We stayed in the Le Botticelle room. The bed was comfy. We enjoyed the outdoor alfresco area, walking around the farm and did I mention the food, the wine and the views are AMAZING!! To get into Positano town, it is best to catch the local bus for a few Euros one way. The bus stop is about 20 metres down the road.

CanadaWe couldn’t get the air conditioner to work but it wasn’t much of a problem as it was cool enough. There are roosters on site which start up at about 5am and you could hear sounds from the restaurant above the room but it wasn’t much of a bother and easily solved with a set of ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The road getting here was quite hectic but nothing that our taxi driver couldn’t handle.
The included breakfast was served each morning and was varied and tasty. The staff were super attentive and welcoming. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Luigi who showed us around. We enjoyed dinner on site which was some very delicious farm to table fare. We also enjoyed the cooking class which was a lot of fun and a very unique and memorable experience. Rento and Antionetta really made the experience extra special. The grounds are lovely with beautiful produce grown right at your door step and fun animals to interact with. Also Antonietta connected with me via WhatsApp before our stay and was super attentive in answering any questions that I had.
