There had been a problem with the booking via booking.com. We had confirmation of booking and payment but the hotel didn't have this on record. The reception staff however were able to accommodate us and meet the terms of the booking we had made. This was a little stressful when we first checked in.

The hotel was in a quiet location and we had a fantastic room with a generous balcony with beautiful view. The staff were very helpful.

It is a little too far from most places like the city of Enna or local stores.

The room is huge and well equipped. The balcony has a great view.

Some of teh staff dind't speak english at all, which made communication difficult. There was no soap or shampoo at our room, at a four start hotel I think this could be expected though. When we asked for soap/shampoo at the reception, they gave us some mini sized ones, but haven't refilled the containers in the bathroom in our 3 day stay.

If you ahve the chance, try the restaurant in the hotel. The pasta dishes very AMAZING. The breakfast was nice as well, we also tried the welness - that was alright. There's not muvh to it, but a pool with a hottub section and sauna.

Hotel is really clean but there was litter in an empty water feature as you approach the hotel. This wasn't a good advert for the hotel and should be sorted.

Outside pool is lovely. Room was spacious.

We arrived in mid-June in 26°C to find the wonderful advertised pool not open "because it is too cold". Although they agreed to let us use the indoor spa pool free of charge, it was only on day 3 that they relented and let us us their magnificent outdoor poor which was fine for northern Europeans. Service in the evening was very patchy. One constantly had to chase up a member of staff to attend the bar. The evening restaurant will not serve tea/coffee and one evening we went to bed without either after waiting at the bar for 30 mins without service despite repeated requests.

The hotel is big, far away from attraction places. Probably for that reason it's receiving big discount traveler groups. They fill the dining room, but the number of staff attending to them remains small, and servicing the guests is poor. The food is standard, basic, never changes. The coffee automated apparatus is a joke, the coffee of poor quality. As usual, there are no electrical outlets where is needed, and that is in stark contrast with unnecessary over sofistication in other places Last but not least, the hotel boasts spa functions and two swimming pools. Spa treatment is payed everywere, no surprises there, but heafty prices for entering the swimming pools (for maximum 90 minutes!!) are not mentioned at all in advertising anouncements

Great facility but the services can be improved. Hope the post-pandemic recovery speeds up to return the potential of this great hotel. Although there is limited activities around the property, it offers a fantastical view of Enna old town and its surrounding landscape.

Staff were dismissive even though wife spoke Italian . We waited over an hour in restaurant and watched 3 groups of Italians about 15 people arrive after us and finish a 3 course meal and we were yet to receive an entree .
