Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaCentral location, walking distance from all historic places in the town, cafes and restaurants, as well parking station. The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable, always available for assistance and guidance. The moment you check in, they make you feel welcome and at home, typical Italian hospitality! We arrived late due to traffic, they brought us dinner charcuterie, wine and water, absolutely delicious, not to mention generous portions, compliments of the hosts! The place is amazing, with lots of charm and character, you feel transformed back few centuries, but with all the modern comforts. They also own a restaurant next door with delicious signature dishes. The guests are made welcome here, too, with offers of discount (I did say they are very hospitable!), but that aside, it is a gem and a must eat place, also full of history and character. In short, 'Fermati che è tardi', is a true compliment to historic Tivoli. Grazie mille, Marco e Camelia!

IrelandAt night we found room very warm as no air conditioning - just a ceiling fan. Would be unbearable at the height of the summer. Room would benefit from coffee making facilities. room lighting not ideal for reading.
Hosts were very welcoming, helpful, nice and friendly. location convenient for main tourist attractions and ideal for the town centre and restaurants. lived up to expectations. Their restaurant which is very near to the B& B is very original and lovely.

United KingdomThe pillow was quite firm, but that is a minor point. As we arrived on Monday, the owner’s restaurant was unfortunately closed.
The location of this property is excellent. Close to the main villas (d’Este and Gregoriana), cheap parking area and yet quiet. The room is nicely painted and comfortable. The owners were very kind and helpful.

United KingdomThe aircon in our room was struggling on one of those very hot July nights, the fan just didn't blow strong enough.
Marco is an absolute legend, nothing seemed too much trouble for him. He made our room available as soon as he knew we were near the town already, well before 2pm. In the morning he set us up with the greatest Italian breakfast we had had, not just an usual croissant and espresso but also a fresh bap, jam and a yoghurt and a coffee of choice with a refill. We also had an evening meal in Marco's family's restaurant nearby and it was excellent as well. We liked our en-suite bathroom very much, the room decor will have its fans as well. The B&B is set in a quiet walkway in the old town. There's a paid car park 5 minutes' walk away but also a free one a bit further in the opposite direction.

FinlandOnly positive things to say :)
This place was way better than we could ever expect. We spent the weekend in this place when visiting Tivoli. The room was beautiful and spacious, and there were nice surprises organized for us because I told beforehand that we are having our honeymoon trip. Our room was really beautiful and far away from boring with all the nice details and we liked especially how the bathroom looked like. Camelia who works there was super nice, and helpful. Big thanks for everything, you made our experience in Tivoli feel like ultra hospitable to us! Other staff members were great and friendly too. The location of the place is very good: it is close to the station and everything in the center of Tivoli but still in a quiet and epic looking medieval kind of street that we liked a lot. If we can come back to Tivoli one day, we would love to stay here again. We are very thankful for the weekend! Highly recommended!
