Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineBe careful of the wasps on the territory. But they are all over the Sicily.
This is an old villa from 1576, with a church and a museum, which we definitely recommend to visit (for an additional fee of 5 euros per person). The owner Davide is an archaeologist who puts his heart and soul into this property. He still conducts excavations on the territory. Davide gave us a wonderful tour of the property and told us about the history of his family and the finds that he constantly finds on the territory. This is where we felt the real old Sicily. The bonus - is the really clear and bright starry sky. Breakfast - fruits, sausage, cheese, yogurts, coffee, milk, water, cookies, croissants and homemade eggs from his own farm, which are incredibly delicious.

NetherlandsNot much windows. So not so much natural light. The hot water is with a boiler. So you need to consider the time during the shower.
It was a pleasure to stay here during Christmas. The heater was Cosy. There was also Christmas decoration in the room. Nice view from the outside. The kitchen is Basic but working. It's easy to park your car.

PolandFirst of all amazing location! You can feel at the heart of Sicilia, wake in the morning to the breathtaking view. Silence (and darkness) that you can’t find in the cities any more. Historic/archeological artefacts to see inside and outside. And very friendly and helpful host :-)

GermanyWe arrived at the place after coming from an already incredible view around etna, and nevertheless, have been blown away by the landscape. owners were very kind and the history of the family&building was incredible. after the short guiding tour about the family rosso. the bed was also historical, but a bit not that soft. the air in the house was a bit thick due to the historical background but acceptable. the cookies given by the owners were very delicious. they had netflix, youtube on the tv. garden was peaceful. they had really friendly animals, espacially the dog and the fluffy cat were always coming around for a cuddle.(not the gray one,it was wild) night walks dont recommended (there might be some boars, so take the car for stargazing) morning walks were great. it was an extraordinary experience to stay in this centuries-old building, not comparable to any hostel or hotel we've ever been to. the renovation of the building was done in a lovely manner. Note: you need a car for the transportation. thanks for your unforgattable hospitality.

AustriaWhen you stay at this place, please don't expect a 5 star hotel room. It still stays a building from the 16th century, though the hosts did a great job in modernising the infrastructure.
Everything was absolutely fabulous. The room was great with all the original historic furniture. You literally sleep, sit and eat on furniture, that else you only see in museums. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and even gave us an extensive guided tour through the historical parts of the property.

United KingdomEverything was perfect. The room was beautiful and the owners had clearly put in a lot of effort in to make it comfortable and in keeping with the age of the property. We had planned to go out during the day but it was such a beautiful place that we decided to spend the day there. The hosts were lovely and showed us around the rest of the property which was being restored. The description on Booking.com really doesn't do it justice - we didn't realise we would be staying in such a beautiful old building with so much history.. They also sell delicious honey!

NetherlandsThe bed was moist, my partner couldn’t sleep because of it the whole night. It was a lot of things prepared to snack or for breakfast but unfortunately everything was pre-packed, non-perishable food, meant to last long(but also luckily some fresh eggs, which we were really happy with). Mind there’s no cellular connection so you can only use WiFi in the house. I’m not sure if Dining place meant for people who stay here— we were not invited.. Overall I was very exited to stay there, but in the end it was not very exiting to be honest. A bit overpriced (95,53 euro + tourist tax 3 euro) for what it is…
Place is remote, and has very special location.
