Good location, good room. The balcony was useless due to the heat, however it was nice to have this option. The room had everything for the beach: towels, umbrella.

We found the mattress and pillows very hard and uncomfortable, a suggestion would be to add a memory foam mattress topper and also a black out curtain to the bedroom as the sun streams in, in the mornings…. I did hang the quilt up to stop the sunlight…. See pic

This was a beautiful roomy apartment on the top floor and the host Gaspare was very helpful and bought us a fan to the bedroom as the aircon wasn’t enough for me… We just wanted somewhere to relax for a few days… Beach and restaurants in easy walking distance…

Friendly, helpful host. Lovely apartment in a great location and well equipped kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Restaurants and a sandy beach are very close by. Gaspare offers an airport transfer for 40 euros but if you have a car it's an easy 15 minute drive and there's parking in the street. We were there in October and public transport wasn't very frequent between Palermo and Terrassini but hopefully better in the summer. Fine if you've got a car. It was a great place to stay for the airport at the end of the trip and we enjoyed a quiet, relaxed couple of days away from the crowds. Highly recommend . Would stay again .

Everything was perfect, we were given the keys and left to the entire apartment.

We have absolutely adored this place. Pictures dont make it justice as this is a full cute well equipped entire apartment in the best corner of Terrasini. The best restaurant in town is steps away and the shore, beach and promenade is steps away. Cozy little corner, we’d love to come back.

Air con only reached the living room and not the bedroom although we did sleep ok despite this.

Perfect place to stay outside of Palermo near the airport if you want to escape the crazy city crowds and traffic. The apartment was spacious & clean with plenty of kitchen amenities and a much needed washing machine (with balcony drying rack and pegs)! Close to beach and restaurants/cafes and the best gelato! Gaspare communicated with us well, despite not speaking English, and we kept him up to date with arrival time via WhatsApp. He kindly met us and carried our heavy suitcases up the 2 flights of stairs. The little beach was a 5 min walk and down a flight of stairs which was so refreshing in the heat of summer and the apartment supplied beach towels which was appreciated. Great little local town which in hindsight we could have stayed a couple of days instead of one because it was more like a holiday home and very relaxed and laid back.

Gaspare was so kind and helpful! We (mom and daughter) stayed here upon arriving after long flights and it’s the perfect location, so close to the airport! I booked this based on the review by “p world” who mentioned the church bells and Italians talking at night, and it really was as she described, the perfect welcome to Italy. I loved the laughter and joy even late at night. I was a little stressed after driving the first time overseas after flight delays and Gaspare was so nice to help me with parking (free with pass). The apartment is so clean and nice. Futon in living room folds into full size bed and there is a separate bedroom with door with a comfortable bed. Basic amenities in the kitchen but everything we needed. The rooftop is comfortable and you can see glimpses of the beautiful sea. There is a beach within about a 5 min walk or 10m down the stairs to get there. Wonderful restaurants for pizza and pasta just around the corner, where we saw the sun setting over the bay. Gelato across the street with vegan options. This was a great landing spot. Make sure to have 3€ per night in cash for fee. I preferred the area in Terrasini to Carini, for our stays near the airport. Great value and happy we stayed here!

A very good, clean and spacious location near the beach and also local restaurants. The best gelato in town is less than a minute across the street. The host is a very friendly local guy who can help you with many indications even transport if requested. You will find all you need, kitchen, nice shower, washing machine, wifi.

The bathroom is large with great water pressure but the bathroom door is semi-transparent glass which could make those who need more privacy a little uncomfortable.

Oh my gosh, what a nice surprise! We were simply looking for a place to stay for one night outside of Palermo before having to fly home the next day. I wish we had known about this area sooner and we would have stayed longer! Terrasini is a quaint small seaside city just west of Palermo. We had a modern and well appointed small apartment with a large bedroom and king size bed. There were also bunks for kids in the larger family area. A nice terrace off the master bedroom overlooked a couple of small restaurants, the small harbor, and the sea. The neighborhood gentlemen played cards and chided one another in the street below. A small church is just around the corner from where we listened to a ceremony and beautiful choir. Many restaurants to choose from. The area seems to shut down between 1 and 4 PM. Walk deeper into the neighborhood and away from the beach to explore - very safe area. We had to be asleep early to catch our flight but I woke up at 1:00AM and opened a window and was pleasantly surprised to hear that this community was fully awake and in conversation! Strange but makes sense given the high daytime temperatures. We would like to return. Street parking in the area was prepaid by the host and we found a spot directly in front. Great beach below with a long sand bar - this was not a crowded beach. This area was something special and did not show up in any of our research about Sicily. Go!

Such a lovely and unusual apartment, excellent location, easy parking with the provided pass. Best restaurant and ice-cream bar right on the doorstep! Nice breakfast provided. Very easy access to airport for our flight back home, would have liked to have stayed longer. Maybe next time.

Very good location, close to the beaches & tasty food! It was no problem to get there and contact with owner was nice too. I recommend as a good base for Terassini or further sightseeing the region!

Unfortunately, we didn't have but one night here, and it was perfect. The owner was great with communication and was quite flexible, as our flight was very delayed due to weather. The breakfast is served at the nearest cafe overlooking the port, with a great staff.

Unfortunately there was construction right next door so it was a bit loud early in the morning but nothing too crazy that it ruined the experience.

Location was fantastic. View was beautiful. Town exceeded expectations. Close to quaint little restaurants, gelato, beach was a 5 minute walk. Would definitely stay again!

The host was very responsive, as if I needed anything they were too happy to assist. The place was very clean and had a beautiful terrace on top of the apartment. Breakfast was at a local cafe and it was lovely to go for a walk along the beach to get there. It was very close to good restaurants and the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.
