Five Positano Hotel was even better than we expected! Everything is brand new, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh, high-quality options that set us up perfectly for the day. The combination of comfort, warm hospitality, and great food made our stay truly memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

Only the ride to get there (minibus from hour to hour, pretty crowded). But the view makes it worthwhile

All was wonderfull - the room was over our espectations, 5 stars style, spacious room, bathroom, nice balcony with a view, we would like to come back! You can choose 1 day in advance your next breakfast, the air conditioner works great, refrigerator with minibar, coffe marker with complementary coffe capsules and tea, supernice bad, really all at 10 from 10!

There was nothing not to like about our stay.

Our stay at Five @ Positano was truly exceptional, helped massively by the incredible hosts, particularly the fantastic Elvira, who provided exceptional information on how best to reach Positano from neighbouring towns, and then how best to reach the villa from Positano port. All communicated very easily via WhatsApp. The villa itself is stunning, beautifully decorated inside and out, the hotel is filled with interesting contemporary artwork and sculptures. Our room was also finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, particularly the bed and the air-conditioning that gave us the most refreshing nights sleep. The room was supplied with all useful amenities to make our stay comfortable, including a mini-bar with very well priced drinks and snacks available. The sea-view balcony and private terrace had the most incredible view across Positano, a key feature of why the villa is situated so high in the mountain. Elvira was such a lovely host, immensely knowledgeable and very happy to help with any assistance, from local restaurant recommendations to booking a taxi to Naples airport. Elvira was supported by an amazing staff, all were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was a typical continental style, with lots of options ordered the day before, everything we tried was delicious and very well prepared. Set high up in the peak of Positano, Five @ Positano is away from the hustle and nightlife of the town, with only a couple of restaurants and a local supermarket nestled in the nearby Piazza Cappella, the villa offers a much more chilled Amalfi Coast experience, which was most welcome in the evenings after a day with the crowds near the beaches. While staying it is highly recommended to ask to book a table at nearby Donna Rosa (recommended to us by Elvira), this family run restaurant is a true taste of Italy, with fantastic ambience and lovely owners.

Property was beautiful with an amazing view. Rooms were very clean, great AC, and staff were wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic. There was a very kind man named Alphonso working who carried our bags and an amazing woman a the front Elvira who helped us with everything we needed. Restaurants nearby were within walking distance and delicious. Far from beach but the bus is nearby and easy to take or you could go by taxi which is also easy to get through hotel. Large bathrooms with all the hygiene products we needed supplied to us. I would reccomend using the taxi service they offer through the hotel and they will arrange it for you to take you to and from wherever you need to go. Truly, could not be happier with our stay. Wish we stayed here longer.

The sunny artwork and the staff being so so helpful! The owner owns 2 art galleries and his dad helps with bringing the luggage from the bus stop to the hotel!

The staff are so helpful and friendly, they keep in contact with you to make sure your stay is comfortable (even getting from Positano Port to the hotel and back again, they help with bus timetables and ordering private taxis). The views from the room are breathtaking. The artwork is so unique and makes to stay extra special. The breakfast is amazing and the waitress and chef are lovely.

It was a little higher up on the mountain, so you just need to plan ahead to have your transportation plan set.

The place was so clean and the staff was EXTREMELY kind and helpful. They not only helped us with traditional needs, but assisted with coordinating taxis and ensuring we were picked up everywhere. I wish we could’ve brought the girls back with us!!! We’ve stayed at many 5 star resorts and the service was on par, if not better than other stays we’ve had. To top it off, the views were STUNNING. It was also a 3 minute walk to our favorite restaurant on the whole trip, Donna Rosa.

Breakfast could have been better

Elvira was the nicest kind person I have ever come across in my solo tourism life. She literally saved my life by arranging late taxi to late check in and everything. She’s very professional but friendly. Place was new and very well decorated Comfy bed comforter

Nothing - everything was excellent. I will say that this is not a place for someone with mobility issues. It's a lot of stairs and hills, and if you decide to walk to Positano, you need to go down 900 steps. If you are driving or taking cabs or buses, you should be ok.

This hotel just opened in April and it's in Montepertuso, a very small town up the mountain. I took the bus from Sorrento to Positano and the entire time I had Elvira, the hostess, communicating with me where to go and how to get to the hotel. When I arrived, I was greeted by Michelle, and he was so nice helping with my bags. The hotel is a work of art, everything in it is for sale, just like a gallery, and the room had some incredible amenities like slippers, robe, shoe brush, bag, toothbrush, etc. Their soaps and shampoos smelled so nice and they added a Nespresso machine in the room with capsules in case you need a boost in the afternoon :) I also adored meeting Chiara and Alfonso - everyone was friendly and they made my stay super special. My room was beautifully decorated and it was my favorite hotel during this trip - I stayed in six different ones.
