How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The only thing that would have benefited us would have been an ironing board. There is an iron in the property, but one can't really iron on a table or the floor. That would have been super helpful, especially when travelling and clothes become wrinkled.
We loved the space for the price and the absolutely amazing location! It couldn't have been better really. The host was also super helpful and kind, and stayed in touch the entire stay if we needed help.

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment during February. ❤️ The bedroom has a bed, and the sitting room offers a sofa that converts into a bed as well. The apartment was comfortably warm and quiet. It's well-equipped for daily needs, including dishes, a coffee machine, a hairdryer, and umbrellas ☂️ Its location is a significant advantage, being a mere ten-minute walk from Termini Station or a single metro stop away. Many popular sights are nearby, but the metro provides easy access to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and shopping areas within two to four stops 🛍The owner has thoughtfully prepared everything to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable vacation 🤩 The apartment includes helpful information, such as a list of nearby restaurants, several of which we have visited ourselves and didn't regret. We especially recommend the gelato cafe mentioned in the list 🍨🍦 And don't miss the opportunity for a tour with the owner; it's well worth it. We enjoyed a private three-hour tour, learning about the city's history and discovering fascinating facts not found in guidebooks🏰

My wife and I stayed at this apartment from January 10th to January 12th of this year. Very convenient location, complete comfort, cleanliness and order. Silence. Very friendly apartment owner. We had fun. We recommend it. Nikita and Anna.

Everything was fantasic! The place is amazing, and probably the best equipped airbnb I have stayed at. Host was kind and went through everything well. Place is well located, near bars, restaurants and a nice park. Easy to walk to attractions or take the tube. Bed is comfy, quiet, clean... highly recommend :)

Great location, a short walk to the metro station. Lovely park across the street. Easy to walk to Termini station. Places to eat and local grocery store a short walk away. Flat had everything we needed for our stay, was nice and clean.

Nothing, it was great!
Gianni was very hospitable and helpful during our stay. Gianni was responsive and provided us with information regarding fun events around Rome. The apartment was perfect to relax in after a long day of exploring the beauties of Rome. The apartment is close to some nice cafes like Casa Dante and ice cream places, Gelateria Fassi as well as the main train station, Roma Termini.

The location is central with easy access to Metro Line A. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The apartment had all the essential amenities required for cooking, cleaning etc.

For those who find it important: the kitchen is small, and there is no dishwasher. But for us, all was just fine. Good value for money.
The location is perfect. We walked everywhere on foot. Gianni, the host, kindly prepared all required tourist information. The apartment is equipped with the necessary things: WiFi, fridge, washing machine, TV, air-conditioning, and coffee machine. We enjoyed our 4-day stay. We didn't cook but there are utensils available. Restaurants and a grocery store are 5 minutes walking distance from the place.

Excellent location near Termini station and steps away from the line A metro. Gianni the host is very kind and helpful. There are a few grocery stores within easy walking distance and the apartment is equipped with all of the basics

The bed wasn't overly comfortable, it wasn't terrible, but maybe could have been more comfy, and the bedside lighting wasn't strong enough to support reading in bed. Otherwise everything was great.
The host was very friendly, and was accommodating even though we couldn't arrive until a day late. Location in regard to the two local Papal churches was execptional, St Maria di Maggiore and St Giovanni de Laterano were both within about 1km of the accommodation. Metro and bus stops close by as well. Accommodation was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with tea, coffee etc.
