Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was perfect. We have private bathroom, shared kitchen with all necessary. Excellent location and perfect price. We arrived very late, the host made sure we had a smooth check-in

We stayed for a week and loved every second of it! First, Marc is a very kind and generous person, and we felt very safe with him as a host. Second, the accomodation had everything we would possibly need. Spacious room, ac, drying rack(even in rooms without balcony), hairdryer and in the shared room you could find an iron, stuff for the beach other guests left, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and basic kitchen equipment. Also, the rooms have excellent location, close to bus stops, city centre, supermarket and all other parts of alghero. The room was cleaned almost daily, with new ser of towels at least 3 times during our stay. Would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you 😊

First of all, Marco, who welcomed us, is very friendly and helpful, great contact. Great apartment, elegant, minimalist decor. Attention to detail (each room has its own pictogram). Very clean, cleaned every day. Close to the shop, old town and restaurants. The beautiful Maria Pia beach is easy and quick to reach, even by bus. I highly recommend, I will definitely come back.

Really good looking accommodation, deeply cleaned bathroom, AC unit works good. Good equipment in kitchen and overall, romantic tiny balcony. Location is great, near the historic centrum and see shore. Owner was really nice guy, we spoke to each other nice since beginning. He made us check-in 1hour earlier. We forget headphones in room and he call us, made time for us (we leaved city meantime) and returned them. If you are with your partner in Alghero, this should be your choice!

I have absolutely no complaints—everything was perfect.
My stay at Four Rooms in Alghero was absolutely flawless! The room was bright, spacious, and perfectly ventilated—a calming oasis to unwind in. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the shower was hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the old town, the city beach, and fantastic restaurants and bars. Marc, the host, was exceptionally polite and attentive, ensuring every need was met. I had an unforgettable experience and will absolutely be returning next year!

What a treasure to find! A beautifully decorated and renovated room and bathroom with a gorgeous balcony over the street and great space and light. Loved my stay here would definitely stay again!

Nice and basic room with everything you need. Many noises at night but with closed windows and the AC on it’s okay. Old town and restaurants within 10-15 min walking distance.

because of some misunderstanding I had no balcony on my room. At first I was a little disappointed, but my comfortable room compensated it.
The location of the Four Rooms is great. Walking distance from the old city, beach near, and also the beach bus station is very close. I got a breakfast voucher to a close coffee shop, good coffee and fresh croissant. I found some good restaurants very close. My room was comfortable, and Marko is a very good host. He is helpful and easy to communicate with him. The kitchen was very clean too, free coffee and tea all the time.

Literally nothing, everything was perfect.
The property looks exactly like in the photos and all the facilities are there. Location wise, its situated 20 minutes from the center of Alghero, 10 minutes from Piazza Della Mercede from where you can take the Beach Bus to the main beaches and 20 minutes from the main bus station from where you can take the bus to the airport. The room was nice and daily cleaned, with towels and new bed sheets regularly provided by the host. The shared space features a coffe machine refilled by the host, a frige and some beach items. I recommend booking a room with a balcony as its nice in the evenings and it has a drying rack for your beach items. There is a Coop store 5 mins from tbe property with decent prices and everything you’d need. The host is very nice and friendly, more than willing to help with advice and relevant information.

The lift was out of service (I suppose it's temporary) and it's a third floor. For us it was a minor issue, but if you are not able to use the stairs that could be a huge inconvenient at the moment.
The room and the common areas were clean and neat. There is a fridge, a freezer, coffee and tea for your use. The towels and soap are included. We could dry our clothes in the balcony. The accommodation is 15 minutes walking from the center. Also, we booked the accommodation an hour before the check in and Marco had no problem welcoming us. I do recommend this accommodation.

Water in the shower was not draining sometimes. we had to stop the shower for a minute, wait until water goes down and continue shower again.
Interior design was very cute and ecological. Room was big enough and comfy. There was a coffee machine in kitchen available for everyone and fridge as well.
