Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Parking cost 25 euros per night. Breakfast cost 10 euros each. No face to face contact with owner. CCTV in breakfast room.
Helpful maid prepared breakfast. Secure parking. Walking distance from main attractions and supermarket.

The wifi signal wasn't always the best but definitely usable for small things
The room is very sizable and clean. The room came with a water heater and mini fridge which was convenient. It is located in a quiet residential area but still close to a park and a 20-30 minute walk from the downtown. I really appreciated all the destination and food recommendations that were provided in the room.

Absolutely nothing.
The accommodation was exceptional. The living room was seperate to the extra large bedroom. There was a safe located in the bedroom cupboard. We could not fault this accommodation. The owner met us on arrival. She offered advice on where to eat and the location of the supermarket. All walking distance from the Foyer. The produce markets are a 5 minute walk and a must see. Twice we bought lasagne there, 5 euro each. It is served hot and you can it in. You can purchase water or a vino as well. The local bus stop is one minute walk. The Metro bus takes you into town, railway station. Or you can walk, it's only 25 minutes. I recommend Impasto Restaurant for a superb meal.

sound proofing in the room was not great, we had two noise neighbors, when they had the tv on we could hear everything also when they spoke on the phone. that was a shame as one night took me ages to fall asleep.
the room was great, comfy bed and spacious comfy bed, good wardrobe , clean and peaceful neighborhood with a 2 buses that went into the city in few minutes

For us personally the location was okay. Not bad and not great. It is 20 minutes walking to the centre and places worth seeing. Doing that walk a few times per day for a few days got rather boring. This might more so be that we had higher expectations of Cagliari it self. If we were to visit again we would choose another area, closer to nature as we found that 1 day in the city is enough to see the centre. But the hotel it self and the peole working there are absolutely great! As I find hygiëne rather important and it was very clean and comfortable I happily give them a 9!
The place is very very clean and the people working here are very acommodating. There was a little mix up about the rooms but the host offered a great solution. Also very nice to start the day with a breakfast they provide. For comfort and hygiene I would recommend this place.

Maybe it is a bit outskirts, but you can get to the center in about 15 minutes walk.

Maybe the breakfast could be improved a bit, though you get all the basics.
Very nice rooms, with a modern feeling, comfy bed si a quiet area makes the place a very good choice for exploring the city. The owners are very helpful, we got everything we needed.

just a bit further walk than expected to centre but there are bus services.

Lovely host, comfortable walking distance from the city centre. Breakfast was simple but I requested gluten free options which were provided and much appreciated. The room was fairly large with a comfortable bed and a small balcony with views of the neighborhood.
