Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe small bathroom was a bit inconvenient.
This hotel in wonderful corner of the Dolomites, with fewer tourists than the other towns we stayed in. It’s a great location for both local hiking (right out the door!) and also for easy access to several famous Dolomites hikes including Cinque Tori, Pelmo, Civetta and Marmolada. Patrick the proprietor was an absolutely wonderful host! He shared info about local hiking trails and many other well known hikes. It was really nice to stay in a family owned hotel. It was extremely clean and comfortable, and it has a very personal and cheerful atmosphere. Our room had a stunning view of the mountains and the valley. (Every room has a balcony!) The bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy on several chilly nights. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We were energized for a day of hiking! While we ate we chatted with Patrick. Selva di Cadore is a one-minute drive away and has a tourist office, a fantastic pizzeria (where we ate each night), and a museum. It was lovely to walk from one village to the next on the walking trail.

ItalyThe hotel is located in the small town where only a few restaurants exist in the town. If you want a good dinner, you will need a car. The hotel provides a discount coupon for a pizzeria in the next town.
The affordable price compared to other hotels even during the crowded season. The room was clean and facilities are working fine. The staff was very polite. The croissant provided for the breakfast was really good. I will definitely choose this hotel if I were to come back in Dolomite.

SpainThere is WiFi but it asks for the password every 5 minutes (so it's pretty unusable) and the 4G/5G is not working good neither, so expect to be mostly offline. The location is also not great, there's not much to do in the area. There's no decent restaurant around, for a goodish meal, you'll need to drive 30km (45min) to Cortina. There are some restaurants near by (pizza or barbecue), but I'd recommend going there only if you starve and not expect anything fancy.
Decent hotel, but not one that's worth going twice. The breakfast is simple and the same everyday: a few pieces of cheese and ham, yogurt, milk and cereals and some home made cakes (no eggs for some reason). The rooms are super clean (kudos to that!). Awesome view, but only for half of the rooms.

PolandThe wi fi connection could be improved :) plus some more veggies for non italian breakfast ;)
The hotel has met all of our expectations; it’s located in the centre of Santa Fosca and all the rooms are with the spectacular view on the Dolomites …breathtaking❤️What’s the most impressive is the atmosphere - feels like home With the smell of delicious cake baked every day :) delicious espresso served by Patrik :) and the Italian hospitality from the hotel owners. Not to mention the cleaning standard (shiny and glossy floors; linen changed )
