Garni Schenk was easily one of the best accommodation we have ever stayed at. The room was extremely clean and cosy. The beds were super comfortable and each day was remade to perfection. The staff were excellent, friendly and super helpful when it came to travel tips around the Dolomites. The garage was easily accessible and made it convenient to park our car. We cannot recommend this place enough! We will be coming back for the Winter :)

Lovely impeccably clean room. Superb breakfast. Great location for getting up into the mountains or onto the (free) bus up and down the valley. When we wanted to extend our stay for a further night they couldn’t have been more helpful and moved things around so we could stay in the same room.

No AC and we were given a room that opened on to a shared patio rather than a private balcony. That meant we couldn’t leave the door open for fresh air.

We liked everything, lived in newly renovated room. The staff was very friendly, also the breakfast was really good. Also free bus trips in Gardena’s area were very useful - we used Val Gardena’s Guest Pass.

The location is perfect, just near the Ciampinoi gondola. The host is very nice, ready to help you with a lot of hints about the surroundings and possible activities and paths on the mountains.

It would be nice to hear about the rules at the reception. We found a note in the kitchen that you have to pay extra if you want to use it. We were not told anything about it at the reception while checking in and were not sure if that was applicable to us.

The location is superb, the rooms are spacious and clean. The view from the balcony is stunning.

Staff weren’t that helpful when we asked about local hikes at check in, and staff were rarely at the front desk to ask questions besides at breakfast

Great location, in walking distance to the ski lifts and nice restaurants near by. Modern facilities and spacious room with a balcony. Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable, rooms were made each day and lots of parking for guests

There was a baby crying all night long in one of the rooms of the floor, and we could hear it a long time during the night, causing troubles to sleep

So helpful and friendly, with suggestions and information. The apartment was beautiful. The beds were great, and even a lift! We made use of the free bus nearby, so you don’t need your car to go to the villages or up to the passes. Would stay there again in a minute.

I cannot emphasize enough how happy and satisfied I was with my stay! It was so cute and comfy and a once in a lifetime experience! The bed, the view, the bathroom, the room itself were all perfect! I loved that you could drink the fresh mountain water straight from the faucet it truly was delicious and my stay was well well worth every cent! Breakfast was also good!
