How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast included was underwhelming.
The location to the centre of Florence and all the main attractions was excellent. Walkable and plenty of places nearby to eat, shop and explore!

The street is very noisy. Assistance with help of how, for example, the window blinds opened and closed were not clear.
Easily accessible, very clean, tidy and spacious. Easy walking distance from attractions, eg Duomo

The place is right in the center, the staff is available and nice and helps with anything you ask for, the hotel is in an old and renovated building and that is also its charm. I would book a stay at the hotel again because it is pleasant to stay there. The breakfast is really good and the service is excellent

Only thing that the room could improve on would be a full length mirror rather than half size. Other than that a great stay
Great location, clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast provided had an excellent selection. Pool was a huge bonus especially during a hot and humid August!

Nothing. Loved it all.
The room was terrific for our family. They provided cold drinks for us in our mini bar as well as giving us all robes and slippers. We also got a bottle of wine, which was another lovely gesture. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location was terrific and we were within walking distance to a lot of major attractions. I wish we could have stayed more nights. The hotel was perfect for us and I highly recommend it. Thank you!

The aircondition could be a bit stronger. But its ok.
The location is just 5 minutes walk to duomo and its accessible to everywhere you go. Santa maria novella is only 9mins walk. The bed is comfortable and the room is very clean its been cleaned everyday. It was spotless. The staff was nice and very accomodating they are available 24 hours. And the best was the surprised that they did for my sons birthday when we came in the room we have plate of fruits and some cakea and a prossecco. Thank you that was really nice. Carrefour supermarket is only across the road and some restaurants nearby. For me this is an ideal hotel to stay if youre in florence. Not too crowdy with tourist and not too loud in the area.

The room was a little damaged- cracks on bedside table and water damage to the wallpaper. Not that this detracted from our stay.
The staff were totally fantastic. The location and the breakfast were also both great. The beds were very comfortable and quiet so good sleep.

Having to leave Florence!!
The staff were exceptional- so friendly and helpful. Mini bar was all included and bottle of wine on arrival was great. Location excellent and very clean

The hotel is located in a busy street so if you have a room on the side of that street then you might hear some noises. This didnt bother me much because the windows block out as much noises as possible and it was too hot to open the windows anyways
Very easy to find. Close to the main attractions. Friendly staff. Swimming pool on site. A great service if you visit in summer months. Finally, you can request for a taxi to the airport at any time.

Location was perfect for what we wanted to see and experience in Firenze. The room was the perfect size for us and comfortable. Breakfast next door was a great way to start the day.

· Pool area was not as I expected. This is ok since we weren't using the pool much. No one there to hand out towels. Elevator very very slow. Everything else was excellent!
Staff were awesome! Helpful, friendly, and informative! Breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is sensational!!! The young man overseeing breakfast is superb and will do anything he can to make your meal time perfect. Rooms were clean and functional. The elevator was very slow so we used the stairs except when moving heavy luggage. Then we were VERY GRATEFUL for the slow elevator! The hotel is on the edge of a downward neighborhood. There was a lot of graffiti and questionable characters. We didn't really feel unsafe though. Just wouldn't want to be there with a young family.

Honestly loved everything.
They gave us a free room upgrade and let us check in early. The staff was very nice. AC worked well, and although the pool is small, there's around 5 chairs to lay out on.

Although the breakfast was included its in a restaurant next door. Their attention to detail is not as good as the hotels but it wouldnt stop me staying here again
Wen upgraded and the room was amazing. Lovely outside space, bathroom and bedroom Pool was an added bonus as it was so hot but the area is quite small. Great area for site seeing. Near everything for exploring. Hop on hop off bus was really good.
