Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThey need to fix the entry door. The locks barely work, so If the code doesn’t work, and the keys are not working either it’s tough to go in and out

Czech RepublicThe shower could use more cleaning.
The apartment was right in the center of Cagliari. Just in front of the main door is street full of bars and restaurants, it was amazing. Still, there was no noise from the outside in the room. The room was small, but sufficiently equipped, a shared kitchen was available. Apartment was clean and modern. We didn't mind one small window in the room. There was self check-in, everything went smooth and clear. The owner was helpful on the phone.

SpainWe stayed for 4 nights, and although it was said that the towels get changed every 3 days, they didn't get changed at all during our stay. It would have also been nice to have someone make up the room at least every other day.
The place is very modern and clean. It has a fantastic location: right in the city centre, and a short walk from the Cagliari train station. The staff were friendly and quick to resolve an issue we had. It's very roomy and quiet. It's a room within a 3 bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen; and each unit has its own lock, so it's quite safe.

The BnB's location is perfect, very central and close to restaurants and bars. Our room was very quiet and the mattress comfortable. The place is really clean and communication with the host was quick and simple. There's a common kitchen area that is useful to have.

United StatesThe unit is on the first floor and there is no lift. The "balcony" consists of a door that opens to a railing. No tidying up was ever done. The air conditioning did not work for the first night. A change of towels would have been nice

NetherlandsThe room temperature was way too high, the heater was set at 24 degrees (!). We asked the host how to lower this, but he didn't respond anymore. This was really a downgrade to the comfort of the room, not a nice atmosphere to sleep in.
The place and the room itself are beautifully made, very modern and classy. The bathroom is amazing and really big. The self check-in is easy and well organized. The location is really in the centre, but you don't hear the noises or the busy square.

United KingdomThere was nothing that we didn’t like about the property but, if you suffer with claustrophobia, you should check if you’ve been booked into the White Room since it has one window that has privacy glass and is very high so you can’t see out of it. It can be opened. It didn’t bother us since there were plenty of lights and the room was a good size and , to be honest, we were out most of the time, but could be an issue if you’re claustrophobic. The pink and Green Rooms both have windows
Just spent 8 nights in The White Room (September 2023) and were so pleased with our choice. Firstly, a great location on a street with loads of bars and restaurants close to Piazza Yenne which are open until the early hours. Also, only a 5 minute walk from the station (get the train from the airport - it takes 5-10 minutes and costs €1.50!) and bus station and the same to walk into (or rather, up to, the old town). The Suite is spotlessly clean and consists of three bedrooms - the White, Green and Pink Rooms (with locks on doors) with a communal kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, sink, dishwasher and pots/pans etc as well as tables and chairs. There’s a kettle and coffee machine with coffee and teabags provided. You’ll need to buy milk.. There’s a supermarket 100m away and a visit to San Benedetto Market is a must for fruit, meat, cheese, fabulous choice of fish ++ . Catch the number 7 bus from Piazza Yenne - it winds through the old town and stops opposite the market. Get back on at the same stop to go back - it’s a circular route. We bought a selection of fish and cooked it one day - delicious - but ate out most of the time as there are soooo many restaurants to choose from outside the front door and throughout the whole city. We hardly saw the other guests, so felt we had complete privacy. Also, the apartment is sound proofed so you hear nothing of the buzzing nightlife outside - not that there’s any loud music, just people talking. The bed was very comfortable and there was a fabulous large bathroom with a huge shower, toilet and bidet. Ksenia was very responsive to any queries and offered suggestions for restaurants as well as places to visit. Cleaners come in each morning and make up your room. We felt very safe throughout the city and particularly in the area around the apartment. We highly recommend staying here. We will definitely go back and stay again.
