Rooms get very hot and without aircon, saying that it would not stop us staying again.

The hospitality for us was second to none, a family owned and run older hotel. Our rooms although basic had a balcony overlooking Lake Como facing north which are stunning from sunrise to sunset, local bus stops just 50m from the hotel entrance and every half hour, good restuarant on site, breakfast superb. A perfect base with which to explore the region using the lake ferry service from the the dock in old Torno a short walk away.

It was very hot while we were there… fans provided in the room were welcome but expect to sleep with the window open.

Location was great with warm, welcoming staff. Good food with amazing view over the lake. Balcony provided wonderful place to see the changing moods of the lake. Yes the decor and furniture is dated but come with an open heart and you’ll find plenty to enjoy in the hotel and the town which is walkable from the hotel along a path from the garden if you’re prepared for a few steps…. But around the lake there aren’t many places without lots of steps!!!

Family owned hotel with great welcome and friendly staff taking well care of guests. . Wonderful view on the lake from the dining room and state rooms with a balcony and chairs ! Excellent breafast with good products and home made omelettes on request. Old style hotel and furnitures (years 80’s) but well maintained and Clean. The food at the restaurant was also excellent. Parking available.

Room was quite old fashioned. Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable Location was hard to get to, no footpaths from town to hotel and hills were steep

Given that it was very hot we did miss having air conditioning in the room. The heat at night made sleeping difficult - a small fan was provided but it didn’t really make much difference.

The food was great - and the evening meal (who which is extra) was really good with great service and attention to detail. We lived the view from our room

getting into a shower over a small bath was tricky in a very crammed space

Nothing to dislike its an old mid 70's style hotel that as an old charm about it. Fully functional.

Great location overlooking lake Como, very good continental breakfast and the restaurant had a good choice of Italian cuisine at reasonable prices owner was very helpful in letting me park outside the reception as I have limited walking ability.

the bathroom was small and don’t very comfortable. The Design of the hotel is old. The price, I think, is a slightly above what the value actually is.
