The picture on booking doesn’t make justice to the true value of the hotel. The facilities are really good classics but clean and well organised. The staff were amazing Alex the waitress was a true professional ( long time no see such a great customer service). Food was truly outstanding I have had the best steak of my life and one of the best pasta dishes. Tiramisu in there is on another level. Really recommend.

The bed was not very comfortable too soft.think it would benefit from a new mattress.

The view from the room is amazing.

To because I was on my own, and I wanted to sit in the window, I was told they were very busy, but there were 6 tables out the window which were empty. And then told I had to pay after my meal and I couldn't charge it to my room. I think they thought I was not going to pay for the meal. A bit rude.

View from the room is something else u can see the whole river como Staff is really friendly and happy to help I had to go to wedding and my clothes needed ironing Once I asked for iron they didn’t hesitate to help me and did ironing for me

Rooms are a bit outdated but in general in good condition No shampoos or soap was in the rooms so had to get my own

The view of the lake from our hotel was absolutely stunning and we loved sitting out on our balcony admiring it. Staff were extremely helpful and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and I had my fish filleted by the waiter on a trolly beside our table. We arrived by car and there were plenty of parking spaces.

The hotel was slightly outside of Torno and there was a walk to the ferry station, but it was do-able.

The hospitality for us was second to none, a family owned and run older hotel. Our rooms although basic had a balcony overlooking Lake Como facing north which are stunning from sunrise to sunset, local bus stops just 50m from the hotel entrance and every half hour, good restuarant on site, breakfast superb. A perfect base with which to explore the region using the lake ferry service from the the dock in old Torno a short walk away.

Rooms get very hot and without aircon, saying that it would not stop us staying again.

Location was great with warm, welcoming staff. Good food with amazing view over the lake. Balcony provided wonderful place to see the changing moods of the lake. Yes the decor and furniture is dated but come with an open heart and you’ll find plenty to enjoy in the hotel and the town which is walkable from the hotel along a path from the garden if you’re prepared for a few steps…. But around the lake there aren’t many places without lots of steps!!!

It was very hot while we were there… fans provided in the room were welcome but expect to sleep with the window open.

Excellent location, 10 minutes from the ships stop, excellent food, perfect views, quiet situation, I had my zoom calls in the garden, from where there are amazing views… I would stay there again. Huge parking, very safe and the staff very helpful.

A/C missing, though at night it is quite fresh and during the day I was away.

Family owned hotel with great welcome and friendly staff taking well care of guests. . Wonderful view on the lake from the dining room and state rooms with a balcony and chairs ! Excellent breafast with good products and home made omelettes on request. Old style hotel and furnitures (years 80’s) but well maintained and Clean. The food at the restaurant was also excellent. Parking available.
