Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkLots of noise from the street
Staff was really nice and helpful. The location was perfect. The room was clean and the decor was cozy. Bathroom was dated but functional. I don't understand the one star rating though.

United KingdomThere was a fridge in the room but it wasn’t working - i was unfortunately able to let the owner know during my stay as I was only there 1 night. On arrival the Room was warm as the AC hadn’t been on. But the AC was very effective and once took a very short time to make the room cold.
15mins walk from the train station Very close to a supermarket Felt save walking around on my own late at night AC was fast and extremely quick at cooling the room down Bed very comfortable

IrelandBreakfast wasn't the best. So don't expect a lot. Two small cakes and some kinda hard toast. But I didn't mind. It was good and plenty of places to eat within 5 minutes walk
The room was lovely bed was very comfortable. Accommodation is great. 6 minutes' walk from the train station and 15 minutes from the tower. Pisa is lovely I liked it.

LithuaniaThe shower is tiny, and our room was on the forst floor and you could really open the window shutters so it was quiet dark.
As people said before it a bit out dated but if you want a cheaper accomodation you hot to make it work. Other than that the location is great and it works for a few nights stay.

PolandUnfortunately, as some other reviewers said, it was rather loud. There is no sound insulation, neither in windows nor the door so you will hear everything happening inside or outside the building. But, to be fair, it did get pretty quiet around 1-2 am so i can’t say I haven’t slept at all (and I’m a very light sleeper).
Very close to the train station and the Tower. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room had everything I needed for one night stay. Overall, for an overnight stay in Pisa, it’s a good value for money.

PhilippinesThere was no small shampoo in the bathroom compared to other apartments we have been to but it’s not a big issue.
The staff is very helpful and kind. It is located near the Pisa Centrale station about 5 minute-walk. The pillows smelled good and freshly washed.

PolandThe worst thing was a tiny, run-down bathroom with a minuscule shower cabin. It was very uncomfortable to use. Another thing was very thin walls. You could literally hear people snoring in the room nextdoor and all the noise coming from the street kept waking us up. The fridge didn't seem to cool at all. As many other guestes mentioned, the place needs a proper renovation. Then it could be really great!
Overall our stay at the 6 keys was good. We liked the location, close to the train station and not far from Campo dei Miracoli. The room was good size and clean. The bed was big and comfy. A welcome set of sweets, coffee and tea was a nice surpise. We also liked having a kettle in the room. The contact with the owner was friendly.

Hungary- The shower was pretty small in the bathroom, and it was also a little moldy. - This is not just the apartment's fault, but the street it is located on is very loud, and the windows block little to no noise.
- Friendly management. - Earlier check-in possibility compared to most other apartments. - Great location. - Good price. - They awaited me with many free snacks on the table, there was also capsule coffee and tea.

United KingdomThe building was multi store. 6 Keys was based on the first level up a staircase. The entry to this building didn't look inviting. I was given 3 Keys, 1 key for front entry to building, 1 key to enter 6 Keys accommodation and another Key for my room. The front building entrance hallway was not pleasant. There was a foul smell, which was awful. 6 Keys does not have the Host available at all times. You are left to your own devices, so if you have any questions or difficulties these won't be addressed. The Welcome tray really should provide milk in my opinion. You also have to pay a tax payment on check-in which I wasn't expecting. Breakfast is not included in the price of the accommodation, this is an extra cost.
I was satisfied with my stay at 6 Keys. My room was warm and cozy and clean. Bed was comfortable with clean sheets and dovet. The ensuite was clean and hygienic with towel provided. The shower was powerful and hot which I liked. There was also a TV included in the room. The Welcome tray in the room was excellent with snacks, tea, coffee, sugar, kettle and a coffee Maker with coffee pods, although milk was not provided. The host kindly provided me with some milk once I had asked her. The Host of 6 Keys was friendly, and the location was good, Just a 30 minute walk to The Leaning Tower of Pisa. I think I did get value for money for a budget B&B accommodation

United KingdomRoom was adjacent to reception desk and also on street level on a corner and locals could often have lively debates nearby. So for light sleepers like me, could be worth considering. Also I am 36 inch waist and the shower cubicle was a tight squeeze (actually pressing into structure) so worth considering too. I've stayed in different city's for 8 days in Italy and it's no better or worse than others in this price range.
Handy for the train. Street map provided. A few coffees and teas provided too and a few cakes. Slept well for me, considering other factors. Would use again.
