    Loved the spa

I had to fight them about the room I booked. They took me to three different rooms that didn’t match my booking. The 4th room finally was okay, but nowhere near the amenities as I had asked.

The only good thing from the entire stay was spa.

Deluxe suite When taking a shower, water leaked under the bathtub from the bathroom to the main bedroom, slowly flooding the room. I had to wipe it up with a towel afterward. Finding parking was quite tricky, as there were not enough signs directing where it was. We stayed in the deluxe suite. The wooden bed decorations were broken and glued back together, but they were barely holding—one little touch and they would fall off. The large shower head above didn’t work; the handle to control it was broken and kept spinning around. I had to use the other shower head, which didn’t have a wall mount, so I had to hold it in my hand while showering. After walking around the suite for 10 minutes without shoes, my socks were as dirty as if I had walked outside barefoot. The white bed cover had a hole in it, and I found a dead mosquito inside the white blanket. The second blanket, which I assume was meant to keep you warm at night, had bubbles on it, suggesting it was overused, and it definitely didn’t provide a luxury, clean vibe. There was also some trash left under the bed from previous guests, like small pieces of paper. The charging socket next to the bed required you to unplug the bedside light if you wanted to charge your phone. The fridge only had two bottles of still water—nothing else, no sparkling drinks, no alcohol, and no snacks. There was no coffee machine, just a kettle. The sugar provided came in small packets, but they were stiff and hard, probably left there for a long time. Dinner at the restaurant had a very limited selection of dishes. There were no desserts available, and when asked if they had anything, we were advised that they preferred not to serve us anything. I assumed this meant the desserts they had were probably old. There was nothing fresh available. The meat was served without any seasoning or sauce, just plain salad leaves with a slice of lemon on the side.

Comfortable bed, large bathroom, good restaurant on site.

I arrived after dark, and drove around 4 times before actually finding the hotel - it’s surrounded by a hedge off a small road, with farmland/fields as its neighbors. Once there, couldn’t find parking at reception, just left my car and went inside to register. An employee, came out and walked ahead of the car, to show me where parking was. When I got to the area where my room was, was told to follow the grey carpet, and parking was ‘down’ below’, but I could leave my car on the side of the road to unload. I could not find my room - very dim lighting along the path, eventually pulling out the flashlight on my phone, to see the numbers of the rooms I was walking by. Another employee heard my yelling in frustration, and assisted me to my room, again, needing the flashlight on the phone, to see where to put the key in the door. There was no shower, but a very high step in tub/jacuzzi.

The old part of the building is beautiful and some thjngs were high quality

There were a lot of things that were not 5 star and it definitely is not a 5 star hotel. It is so beautiful from the outside, the grounds around and the reception but after that it's was a joke. There are 3 pools but you will only be allowed to swim in one of them. The pool bar did not open at all. You do not really see any staff around even though the resort is huge. Most of the rooms are empty even though it was end of July we stayed. The gym isn't opened and no bar to speak off. The hotel iwas very dead. We feel it was a resort that didn't quite make the money it was expected too so it has been left. Or maybe was once very much 5 star but in the down turn lost a lot of money. Either way it is sad, it could be amazing but working on skeleton staff and nothing opened made it very sad, un atmospheric and sad

How to rate 5-star accommodation? Then more, if you visit such place 1. time? To tell the truth: this hotel itself was tourist attraction for us. After booking We set out to look for the sights of the surrounding area. After 2-3 hours checking (photos about 40-50 different hotels) some principles still was clear: plastic furniture, tables in a restaurant without linen etc. are forbidden. Furniture must be "long-life" (classic style) - and so expensive. As 4-star hotel can be almost "whatever owner think". In territory all Italy there was dozen hotels with 5 star and less than 100EUR/ night. The cheapest 2-3 definitely was´nt 5, but 4-star. Vigna Nocelli (situated "in bad place" = not near the sea) was the cheapest to accomplish minimum-demands (B&B: Beauty +Breakfast). Although breakfast was adequate, what some 4.5-star cruise ships offered was still more plentiful! In last morning (Mon. = single guests) air condition in restaurant was turned off. Probably biggest pools of all Italian hotels that are "not in use": "olympic pool" (50m) +the huge pool are "just for photos" (just married-partys etc.) - real swimming happen in little (25x15m) pool. Although hotel situated some 50-70m from highway, there are still noice in night (if walking outside).

Parking was "outside" (in mid-day was absolute necessary to waite some 5-7min, before air condition of car cooled inside temp. to some 40C celsius). Compared the lots of millions of euros spent to constructions, the cost of covered parking places still maybe 1% of all.

Bungalow style - Big rooms with a bath and king size bed, nice outdoor, close to the parking spot. Room service. Quiet place.

It needs some attention- some more cleaning and fixing facilities, place is understaffed. No gym.

I didn't sleep. I could not accomplish my routine with 300 radio stations in Brazil and 2.7 million followers in Youtube, because my two records of 12 and 6 minutes spent 11 hours to be sent tru the very low internet of the hotel. I started at 6PM and got to send it all only at 5 AM next day. At 11PM I asked for help to the concierge and he was very poorly interested in help. - And the restaurant was also poor.

    The rooms were spacious

The pool area wasn’t very tidy and the breakfast was very mediocre. Also not many people staying but ate in a big room which didn’t feel cosy.
