Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ColombiaStaff is inattentive, they are rarely at the reception desk, even at the times they are supposed to be. Breakfast was provided only twice of the seven times it was supposed to be provided. However, we were offered a discount in the city tax because of this. Host also rarely communicated with us and this made the whole experience rather confusing and hard to navigate.
Breakfast is very complete, rooms are big and comfortable. Bed is clean and comfortable. Towels are provided every day or as-needed. Location is excellent and near public transportation. Big and very complete bathroom, AC works great, room service is excellent, when provided, as well as cleaning.

BrazilWe had a bad experience with the hotel. We arrived at 10 a.m. to leave our bags, the receptionist said that at 1 p.m. the room would be ready and we could return. We arrived back at 3 p.m. and the room had not yet been finished, we had to wait 20 minutes at the reception, and the check-in time is 2 p.m. (1 hour and 20 minutes late). The next day we ordered breakfast for 8 a.m. and it arrived at 8:40 a.m. On Saturday we ordered coffee for the same time, we were waiting until 9:20, nobody showed up. We went to reception, rang the bell and there was no one to answer us or give any explanation. On the way back from Saturday's tour, we arrived at the room and it was as we had left it in the morning and on the booking site it says that daily cleaning is done. We don't recommend this hotel, very disrespectful to customers.
The apartment is very comfortable and well located.

United KingdomThe shower drain was blocked, shower is old, it literally drips water, not great when you want a nice shower after a long day. The host agreed on our ETA, saying all we needed to do was to ring the bell and he would let us in. We arrived there at around 2am and only managed to get in at around 4 am, after wondering around for 2 hours trying to find someplace else to stay, we were on the way to another hotel and decided to stop by again in an off chance they would let us in, then luckily they did, but did not get an apology or anything for it. The host has asked before we checked in what time and what choice of breakfast we wanted on the first day, we asked for an early BF, but the host never communicated to the worker, so we had to wait long for our breakfast. The worker there was nice. But that is about the only nice thing about this place. I do not recommend.
The location is ok. Breakfast ok, the room was disappointing. The shower drain was blocked, shower is old, it literally drips water, not great when you want a nice shower after a long day. The location is ok, not too far from the Vatican, the only nice-ish thing about this place.

Czech RepublicThe receptionist wasn’t there during whole our stay (two nights). He didn’t do the checkin with us so we didnt have any information. We also didn’t get the breakfast which was prepaid. So we made a deal with owner of the property that we will not pay the city tax (14€) so we have lost 6€ because one breakfast for one person was 5€, according to the information from the owner. Apart from this, the bathroom in the room was not cleaned properly. We would definitely not stay there again. For the price the quality was very low!!! Not recommend.
